Yes, they also have handheld laptops they carry with them. My husband's doctor showed me exactly how it works and the finished product. Looks just like someone typed it up after he finishes choosing his choices on the screen.

Yes, my doctor's office and the hospital use this too and they all love it. My prescription goes directly to the pharmacy and I can pick up my prescription on the way home. I used to transcribe all the family medicine/internal medicine offices for this hospital but my services were no longer needed. I see our profession dying out in the future because of this.

Does this only mean the laptops the people use
when you are in the office or is this also on the hospital side? If on the hospital side and I think this is so, then my hospital went to this probably 5 or 6 years ago, long before most of us had heard the name Obama.
