Does anyone here or has anyone ever worked for Serviss and if so, can you give me the good, bad, anything? 

Please stay away from this one.  She does not pay and avoid you, all phone calls, emails, everything.  She owes a few MTs thousands of dollars.

They're a transcription company located in Colorado.

Is this woman still in business and if so, is she PAYING her MTs on TIME now?  A couple of friends had pay issues with her as she would not tell the truth about when she would mail their checks and this is one of the services who would wait on the doctor to pay HER, then she would pay the MTs, and NEVER the full amount for the work done.  My friend had to wait 3 months one time for her FIRST paycheck. shoot, even told she would NOT even pay even when the docs did pay HER.

This will probably get deleted as I have NO idea why in the past any posts about Serviss would get deleted.

They had a job on one of the boards last week.  I sent them my resume attached to my E-mail (don't remember seeing anything about pasting resume into the E-mail and do not send attachments).  Didn't hear anything back from them.  I googled them and found their web site - in their web site it says do not send attachments as far as the resume.  Hence, I pasted my resume in the E-mail.

It's been a week - haven't heard anything.  I have over 10 years' full-time experience, so I feel I am qualified for the positions they were posting for (internal medicine, family practice, and pediatric clinics).  

From their ad, though, they sounded pretty good.

This lady owes me over $1000 for work done.  This lady is MIA...she does not answer her phone, emails, anything.  She does not return calls.  She is ducking me and avoiding me, but I will be filing charges if I have to go to Colorado to do it.  I am sending a certified letter to her today, then I go to Colorado to take her to court.

Lyssa Serviss, if you read this, know that you will pay me one way or another!!!!!

Has anyone ever worked for OSI Transcription?  If so, are they decent?  I just did the online transcription test and am awaiting their answer. I would hate to give up my local jobs for this one and find out they are not a decent company.

They are hiring IC's for VR editing and also for transcription.  I am thinking of giving my hands a rest and doing editing.
