The full time requirement is (sm)
1000 lpd. Not sure about part time. I am on the new ortho account that just started. I just started so cannot really answer the next question, but they seem to give you a primary and leave it at that. They do like to cross train, which everyone does. They send a foot pedal, but you get online with the tech person to download the software. It is very user friendly and the best I have ever worked on!!
Full time with Transtech is both. 40 hours per week and 5500 lines per week.

You have to average 11000 a week to be full time.
The editing/straight transcribing average varies by account. I have one that is about 50/50, two that are about 70/30. Every straight transcribed line counts as 2 edited lines. We also have new accounts too so of course those will be more straight transcribing until the doctors get recognized.
Which companies consider full-time 35 hours per week? THX......nm

I love it. Got my full-time lines first week.
First time in years I am back to making my old money again. A good match for me, at least. IMHO. Been in the business over 26 years and I like it a lot. Can see acct. specs while typing, samples, have normals and inserts, etc. Never a problem and that was from day 1. And I am not a recruiter, I am an MT who has been around the block enough times to know a good think when I have it and to stay put. Good luck to you.
MDI-MD: What are daily line requirements for full-time/part-time? Thanks! nm
nm
Yes it does, but 35 hours a week is all that is required to be full time and get bennies.
.
Line count for full time
I will look up my contract today and get back to you on it. However, you can always call there, they would be glad to answer questions. But, I will write again with the number which I had on my contract (remember, I was an IC last year, it could have changed).
Can anyone tell me Amphion's line rate for full time?

I looked through the archives but could only find 6000 for part time.

Thanks

I believe they mean that you have to make $900 per PP to be full time, still paid by line

they don't pay their share of the premium in any pay period you drop below full-time line count..

One-weekend day per week requirement...

I presently work for a company that requires one week-end day every week.  I've been browsing through the job list on MT Daily and all of them so far also require one weeke-end day per week . Why is this?  It's kind of a depressing thought to think the rest of your work days on this earth will include one weekend day.  Can't they just find people who want to  work weekends only and pay them a differential?  I know there are times in my life when just working weekends would have worked for me, there must be others out there.  I think it's rather gutsy to require everyone to work a weeken day.  Oh for the days of ole when MT's could work whatever days and hours they wanted.  And made good money on top of it.  And mostly English-speaking doctors.

Also I was told there is a 20 hour per week requirement (sm)
along with the 4,000 line. I have been an IC with this company since 1998 and just found this out about a week ago. Nothing in anything I actually signed, they were just "letting me know" to maintain my status this was the requirement.

As above, each office is different although I think they are trying to get more uniform across the board.
Line requirement
I was told 6,000/two week period.
Line requirement

What I meant to post, 6,000 lines/two weeks for a part timer, 12,000 lines/two weeks for a full time worker, whether you are statutory or employee

What is the line requirement for them for full time?
Line requirement is 11,000 per pay period. sm

You keep a time sheet and turn it in every 2 weeks.  I am not sure as to how much time you are given to get up to speed, but they are a great bunch of people and seem to be very understanding and caring.  I am sure they would work with you if you were having problems.  And yes, you can make up your time if you are missing some hours.  Hope that helps.

Good luck!

Future Net's line requirement pp?

What is Future Net's line count requirement per pay period for PT and FT?

What is line requirement at Transtech?

Line count requirement

There are different pay levels.  To stay at the top level, you need to do 200 lph minimum.  P.S.  The web site is www.transolutions.net for more info.

Yes, partially, if a line requirement is met per PP.
x
What is your minimum line requirement for FT?
Just curious what all is out there....thanks.
If you are entry level, what is the line requirement.

and how long will they give you to make that count.  Also can someone tell me what the pay will be for entry level.  I see they are hiring all the time and was interested.

Thanks.

Any companies with a daily line requirement of 800?
I'm serious. Are there any companies IC or employee with a daily line requirement of around 800 or so? I seriously lose concentration after that but I love to transcribe.
I thought the line requirement was 1200 for SE - sm
Do you have any idea why this person above is saying 1400 lines/pay period and telling me to brush up on my math skills? I'm confused! I only want to do 1000 lines per day right now, at least until my youngest is off to Kindergarten! I guess it depends on how easy it is to make 1200 lines/pay period. I could give it a shot to try for their incentive bonus and if I find I am doing it consistently, maybe change my status. Thanks for your help!
line count requirement at Webmedx

Last week I trained on a my account, which is very large with many dicators.  Today is the end of my first full week of production and I am averaging 110 lph. The requirements are 150 lph.  My trainer said that studies show it takes an average of 30 days to get used to a new account and reach production.  Therefore, I have 2 more weeks to reach 150 lph,and I am worried.  My supervisor said to work towards goal, but I know line count is the bottom line.  Can any Webmedx MTs shed some light on what they have experienced.  Also, is it usually customary to give at least 90 days?  My quality is good;however, I really need to crank out the lines.  Thanks

What is their daily line count requirement? nm

rate and line count requirement
So you know the rate for single coverage and the line count requirement to be eligible for coverage? Do they have dental also?

Thanks---Sue
Part time requirement is now
750 lines per day, I think.
I am on my "final warning" for not making line requirement.
if my line requirement is not met.
So, you need mandatory overtime to reach your line requirement, huh? LOL
Gotcha!
Hourly rate PT hours & fewer line requirement
Title means nothing at my company. All I do is assign work.
Stinks. If you state your line rate requirement, they vanish. (nm))

We are preparing to change to Clarity/line counts, rad. What is the requirement?
Spheris employee...
It absolutely is NOT a reasonable request for a minimum line requirement!

We are not machines!  20 years ago when I started out, my first job had a requirement of 800 lines per day (8 hours), that's 100 lines an hour.  Five years later it was 1000 lines a day.  I think the standard right now is around 1200 lines a day.  Now, someone's asking for 1600 as a minimum!?!?!!?

I'm not saying there aren't people out there that can meet and exceed 1600 in a day.  I'm simply saying making 1600 a minimum requirement is absurd and unfair.

I'm lookin for part-time work (about 3-4 hrs daily) after 13 years of full-time, anyone know of a
company that is hiring flexible part-time?  I'm starting a career in real estate but don't want to totally quit transcription, but I think most places require 25 hours a week and I cant work weekends, as real estate sales are the biggest on the weekend with open houses and people off work to shows homes to.  If you know of a place I'd sure appreciate the info.  Thanks!
Not what I was told; 3500/wk part-time & 6000 wk/full-time. nm

Precyse Solutions is hiring part-time and full-time right now.
Saw this on their website.
I have one full-time job and 2 part-time jobs. It can be tricky at times, sm
but at least I now have plenty of work always. I have some big financial goals, and right now that seems to be the only way to accomplish it.  I can't see any reason why it would not be legal -- why would you say that?  I am cheating no one, except myself (out of sleep and a social life).  Fortunately, I am single with no children or anything.  I cannot imagine doing this if I had a family.  At least my dogige understands.
It often takes my check a full week to get here but (sm)
I don't really think it's because they are mailed late; I have relatives in Florida and the mail from/to them can take forever as well. Since they quit direct deposit I basically just changed my expectation of when my check would arrive. I believe they do still offer the option of delivery by FedEx for something like $10/pp, which I used for a while before DD and my check was here like clockwork every payday. Whatever else I might say about JLG, I've always been paid on time.
Full time/part time based on # hours or
# lines per pay period, nothing to do with quality. The lower the quality the higher the pay it seems.
Solution: Find another job, part time or full time.
Post your resume, hope for the best.
Depends on how flexible you need to be and if full-time or part-time
They are a little more flexible if you are part-time.  Not so much full-time, where you can be a little flexible within the day (not a strict 8-5), but if you are scheduled for Monday, you have to work Monday unless you request off, and if you are scheduled for a Holiday, you have to work the holiday, unless you request off.  They encourage you to clock out every time you are not typing to keep your lph rate up, which means an 8 hour day can turn into 12 hours at the computer.  If they run out of work (which they do quite often), you have to make the time up.  They are also leaning more towards Voice Recognition, so MTs are getting trained on that, but not sure what percent will go that way.  It does affect how much work you may get though in the other accounts.
They are advertising for full time HIM now, do they still hire part time? nm

My thoughts exactly, why waste my time when you know you are only hiring full time? nm

Question on MDI-MT full time vs. part time
Does anyone know how many lines per week or per pay period are required at MDI-MT to be considered full time?  Thanks.
