I'm an IC with MDI-MD and just today accepted a FTE position with TransTech.

MDI-MD is great to work for (see archives). The biggest difference as far as I can tell is that you have IC status with MDI-MD, whereas with TT you're employee status with benefits, etc.

I, too, have heard very positive things about TT, so I'm very much looking forward to getting started with them.

If you're happy with IC status, then IMHO the place to go is MDI-MD.
