I also noticed that they kept referring to themselves as the employer even though I was going to be an IC. I had some technical problems with their test; the recruiter didn't bother to respond to my emailed questions. I managed to get through it anyway and was offered a contract. I turned down their contract based on red flags and plain BAD feelings that were obvious during the recruitment process, and I am so happy that I did!!
