Ewww, makes me sick!

Ewww - I worked on Meditech Magic in a hospital system - sm
unless the platform has improved mightily, it was horrible. There was no word Expander in Meditech and the spellcheck dictionary was very limited. By changing to a Word-based platform, my lines per hour increased about 75 LPH in one whack.
phones
I have three lines, all AT&T discounted for all three ULD
A lot of MTs don't have C-phones (nm)
/
Which companies still use C-phones?
TIA
Company that uses C-phones
A Transcriptionist who used to work for me just told me about your post. I use a call-in system that is accessed with a C-phone. My workload is a little light due to the doctors taking last-minute vacations, but if you want to contact me in a few weeks, it should pick up by then. I have a few surgery center accounts, pain clinics, and a plastic surgeon and am looking to pick up a few more accounts.

didn't know they could dial phones yet..sm
but they ARE pretty smart! Yeah i knew about dogs liking cat food, but you could chase my kitties around the block with dog foot. that's weird.
Sennheiser head phones
Love them.  They are not as expensive as the Bose, but they are just as good.  They are, however, a little more expensive than your average headphones.  They are lightweight, noise cancelling, and very comfortable.  I bought my on ebay last year and got a great deal.
they have accounts that require C-phones sm
and also accounts on high speed internet. Not every account is done on the same platform. Full time is 1200 lines per day/12000 pay period. Part-time (if they still hire part-time) is 600/6000. They offer insurance but I can't remember what it is. There is something through AFLAC but I think that might be disability or something.

You could hear from them down the road some time. They try their best to match you up with an account that matches your experience.
Not answering their phones would be a big turn-off for me. I wouldn't take the job. nm

Why? I am an MT. I don't want to file or answer phones, and if they gave me something else to d
they would have to take the work from someone else. Why would they do that? MTs make a lot more than Med Rec clerks. Make the MTs take their PTO and pay the Med Rec clerks their lower wage. Not pretty but realistic.
Do they have any internet accts or are they all accessed with C-phones or Laniers? nm
s
Agree with this. And bring in your own noise-cancelling phones so you don't have to hear her. nm

Your foot pedal & phones are plugged into your tower like with any other program. Works just fine
s
Same here. Too much fuzz and static on the lines. Redid the hard drive, new phones, new sound card,

What companies allow dial-up? or C-phones and dial-up?
I do not have (and can't get) cable or high speed internet.  Satellite is available but way too expensive to get if you are not working! I just wanna get a job....
