I love TransTech. Thanks for the MT Week Amex gift cheque.
:)
TransTech sent an Amex gift cheque and a lovely card signed by all the office staff.
Very thoughtful and a nice surprise. I love these people.
TransTech MT week gift??? OR just low work gift??

Have any of  you rec'd anything from TT for MT week gift yet?

I had mine this morning but let me ask about wrong
This is my first time hearing about your pay being wrong. Give some background. Has it happened to you or someone you know? Thanks
I love MT work... I get up in the morning
put on a blonde wig and a tight dress, look like Anna Nicole Smith and type all day long.  And I'm not even a woman!
Love, love, love TransTech! Not overhiring, just growing like crazy!
x
I would love that! Great gift. Nothing yet from JLG. nm
..
Any other TransTech people out of work this morning? sm
After the big hiring blitz, I am afraid that maybe my account is getting saturated.  I guess that is the way with all good things ... it doesn't last.
Why is TransTech hiring when I have no work this morning? sm
Why do these companies do this?  Hire, hire, hire while I am sitting here waiting for work for the past 3 hours.
A card and $25 gift check from TransTech. It was

Thanksgiving is weeks away, yet no work on TransTech this morning. sm
I have 2 accounts, with no work on either.  I used to think they cared, but now I am not so sure. If there is no work now, I have to think the closer it gets to Thanksgiving, it will really be awful.
Surely had hoped for Christmas gift from TransTech again this year, but . . .

not.  Has any other TT'er (MT) gotten a Christmas gift of any kind yet from their employee -- Transtech ?

I guess I shouldn't have expected one, but I did . . . .

Love Mine
I absolutely love mine, but it's a very small local company and I just transcribe for 10 doctors as an IC and there are only three other IC's working there besides me.
I love mine too! nm
nm
Which platform are you referring to? They have several. I LOVE mine!!! nm

I sure hope I can get mine today from TransTech.
Boy, that would be a God-send right now.
WELL SAID TT12 - mine hasn't run out yet (I love slow times though)

Mine has ALWAYS been in my bank on Friday, if not before, from Transtech, so absolutely different

This pay period is different.  My bank is such a good bank, so it is NOT the bank.  I called my bank and a DD is not even pending from Transtech.  New payroll person inhouse may want to save TT $$$  by holding off on our pay.  Things are changing at TT every day now.  It has been SO GOOD for over a year.   Sigh . . . .

Christmas gift appreciated, but turns out not to be a gift if there is no work the day after

Christmas Day.  Yes, it was $25.00 (twenty-five).  I lost that much this morning when there was NO WORK.  I had so hoped to have a good paycheck this pay period, and was working very hard to have one -- as I need the money SO BAD.

I was appreciative of the $25, rather than some kind of novelty advertising token with company logo on it, like some MTSO's would give to a prospective client, etc.  Oh, yes, I made very good use of the $25.  I took it and paid my high-speed internet bill, a necessary tool for working my job --  which the $25 was very much short of paying that phone charge.

THANK YOU TT for the $25.

Wow .. TT used to give $25 Amex cheques, but then again that was before sm
their push to cut wages with the VR cra*.  It was bad enough when I worked there, constantly running out of work, having to work every day all hours in order to get my lines in, and then the condescending sweetie and you rock, like that was going to feed my family.
me too - love TransTech
nm
You will love TransTech!
I left OSi for TT two years ago and have never regretted it. Also Keystrokes is hiring!
I love TransTech - best job EVER
:)
You will love it here at TransTech
You will SO be treated as a human being and an equal with all the respect you deserve from every department, administration, support, QA.

Congrats! I love TransTech!
I have heard they are sending $25 AmEx checks to all of us sm
It is a rumor, I don't have one. I don't actually care if I get one either. I have a job, benefits and nice situation with TT. I have had plenty to eat all year, clothes on my back and my bills paid. It has been a wonderful year and I don't need a bonus. I have had bonus with having such a good life for once.
Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes! Love Transtech. Never been happier
with an at home MT job!
Another reason why I love TransTech
Our paydays are every other Monday.  Not only were we paid on Friday because of the holiday (instead of Tuesday - like every other MTSO I have worked for), but we were also notified by e-mail that we would be paid early and to please get our timesheets in on time so they could do that.  Awesome!!!!!  Transtech - you ROCK!!!!!
Have to agree, love Transtech except ....
for tech people now. They are condescending and rude and half the time don't know what the problem is. I miss you-know-who!!!!!!!!

PS, still the best place to work.
I work at Transtech and love it
nm
I LOVE working for TransTech. Been there almost three years and it's
the best MT job I have ever had. You will enjoy talking with Debbie, who does the hiring.
Love it - Transtech hiring for M-F w/ only 1 weekend
:) :)
They used to give out $25 Amex cheques -- give them time. :-) nm

I bet you 1 million $$ you won't find one on mine. Mine is
2 years old and it does not have a 9-pin serial port, nor does it have a game port.   I have used both ports on other computers so I know what both ports look like.  I also have a company provided computer and it does have the ports on it.
There was no work for me this morning and . . .

that was okay. I spent more time with my 2 babies. I held my 9 1/2 month old in my arms while he struggled to stay awake and finally gave in to his sleepiness. As I type this, I am listening to my "almost 2-year-old" laying on the living room floor "watching" TV talking to herself, curled up with her blanket, and almost sleeping. It makes me smile. Just about 15 minutes ago, I snuck outside and gave my horse a carrot and she nickered a nice hello. THAT is why I'm home.

I work for Transcend. Have been for about a 1-1/2 months. I have learned a lot and I hope to learn more. I checked my Ps and Qs before I left my in-house, cushy, very solid clinic position to work at home. I checked the money situation. (I was also lucky enough to land an IC job with a local clinic that pays .12cpl, but only comes out to $100 a week as they don't have much work for me.) I hemmed and hawed over it for 7 months before I made my decision to stay home. I will admit it, it is a little frustrating not to have work, but, there will be work later. I may never have benefits through them, I may have to marry my (not so darling...ha ha) boyfriend (the father of the two kids) in order to get health insurance....but I'll deal with it. I LOVE being at home. (BF is jealous and wants to be home to, my Dad, who is soon to be retiring, is jealous as well. Course, they're MEN and wouldn't be able to work and watch the kids, but I'll let them be jealous!)

When I first started with transcription over 7 years ago, I never even thought of working at home, never really crossed my mind. I feel very lucky to be in a career that allows me to do both, be at home and still have a career. I'm not afraid of hard work or minor setbacks. I've put up a 1/4 mile of horse fence in 90+ degree weather, this is easy. Sure, it may come with some "bull****, and slow times, and frustrating times, but then I have a morning like I did today...(see above)...and I sigh...and smile. To each his/her own. If ya don't like the stew, get out of the pot.

Your post was on this morning because

Very funny. Thanks for the morning

My, my, having a bad morning? Sheesh.
I can't see what was so offensive about the first post.
I had one similar this morning

Only it was from Meditech.   Never applied there.  Letter sounded pretty similar to yours though.

No, just out of work this morning

nm

Electric off this morning?
I think they had thunderstorms this morning and maybe a tornado.  Their electric may be off.
Sorry, Monday morning
I could not find any posts on this company.
Thanks, I actually have an interview in the morning. nm

I applied this morning
I took the test by playing and pausing. Then I went back through the dictation and filled in and corrected. I had to play each section about 4 times to finally get it all.
My deposit was in this morning
When did you send your line count to invoices?

I'm not a cheerleader, I just think the good things should be mentioned as well as the bad.
2 cpl isn't worth getting out of bed for in the morning.

Not a single job this morning. nm

What gift....
I have never received even a card from Precyse and I have worked for them going on 4 years now. The odd thing, however, is that I get a Valentine's day present and an MT week present...maybe they don't celebrate Christmas, who knows.
