greenlight transcription - oregon
I found a post from last year that said you could not be productive because of too many fields to fill in  Does anyone think what that might mean?  I'm thinking too many demographics but not sure.  Does anyone know anything about them other than they use edmat platform and IC position
Greenlight Transcription in Oregon?
Anyone have any info on this company? Thank you.
Yes, Greenlight Transcription out of Oregon and StatIQ out of NM..

INfo on Greenlight Transcription in Portland, Oregon

What platform do they use and is it friendly?  I had heard they only paid 6 cpl.. is that true, or hopefully more??

Old posts from 2007 give glowing reviews, but in 2 years things can happen, and no line rates were posted back then.

Thanks for any info.

Greenlight
I have worked for this company in the past, and would still be there if I had not had serious medical problems that took almost all of last year to correct and take care of. Suzanne is a wonderful boss. Pay is ALWAYS ON TIME, work never ran out while I was there, and EMDAT is one of the easiest platforms to work on! I think you would be very happy with Greenlight:)
greenlight
why did you leave greenlight?  I was just wondering since you sound like you liked them and I was also thinking of applying with them.  Thanks for your help!
greenlight
do they help you with technical set up such as software, any other problems you might encounter along the way  I noticed their ad said ability to install software knowledge.  I just didn't know whether or not to take that literally.  Thanks!

Suzanne is absolutely wonderful to work for! She gives positive reinforcements as well as good/understandable feedback! I wish that I still worked for her! Pay was always on time, EMDAT is easy to work with and easy to get lines in. Hope this helps:)

Greenlight Transcription - just some thoughts

Over the last year or two I have sampled around with a few different MTSOs trying to find the best fit for me, etc.

Afraid to leave my main job of 3+ years I made some very bad decisions.

One company that I worked for briefly was Greenlight.  What a great company.  The lady is a pleasure to work for.  Very friendly.  They use EMDAT (great software).  The accounts I was on were really great accounts.  The pay was pretty good.  The hours were VERY flexible.

What I would give to find another company like this.

Has anyone else ever been in this situation?  Just curious.  I think it is just too easy sometimes to fail because we are not met face to face with our employers.

Greenlight still oursourcing to India?
Thank you for the information on Greenlight.  Your comments make it sound like a pretty good company to work for.  I'm concerned though as I read a post from this past summer that they were outsourcing to India.  If that is true, it makes me want to avoid Greenlight like the plague.  I can understand wanting to cut cost but not only is that cheating American MTs out of work, it brings in shoddy transcription, driving the doctors to quit using MTs and use electronic means.  If anyone has anymore information on Greenlight, if they oursource or not, what exactly do they pay, or if you work for them and are totally happy, I'd like to hear back.
Seeking information on Greenlight Transcription

Thanks so much.

Info on Greenlight Transcription and RI Unlimited sm
Just wondering if anyone works for Greenlight Transcription?  How do you like your job?  Able to meet line counts?  Able to use the Emdat software without much trouble?  Pay on time?  Also anyone work for RI Unlimited?  Just curious if they type in Word.  Also anyone working there . . . happy?  Pay on time?  Enough work?  I have done a search and found some answers for RIU but not  much on Greenlight.  Thanks!
I think there are 2, one in Oregon and one in NJ? Not sure...nm

The one in Oregon

appreciate any info

Found one in Oregon but not NJ
The one in Oregon looks like (at least on the doc side) to use Intrascript.  I would not recommend this platform at all.  It is a big fat pain and slooooooow.  If it is web based, that has a tendency to be faster, but the installed program version is very slow even on a brand new computer system.
Is this the NJ or the Oregon location? nm
s
Yes, Advanced is in Oregon.
I think it is 600 lines a day three days per week for part-time, but I am not sure about full-time.  IC position.  I think you do have to be on an instant messenger though.
Is this the one located in Oregon?

Advanced in Oregon???
They run out of work on accounts, and then expect you to pick up and just learn a new one on a moment's notice.  You have to have MSN messenger and be accountable if you need to step out and give them notice if you're not working a particular day that you have to commit to working (they leave that out until you are all signed on and set-up).  The platform is clunky.  The recruiter is nice at first, of course, aren't they all?  Then, you get to working and the accounts run out.     This was my experience.  I dropped 'em; IC to me equals freedom, not chained to the desk.  Sorry...
CTS of Michigan, TRX of Oregon?
Anybody know anything? Good, bad, indifferent?

PLatforms?

Pay scale?

Work availability?

Personalities?

Thanks!
Advanced Transcription, Inc, out of Oregon?
Noticed they had a posting on MTJobs looking for ICs. Did a search but "advanced transcription" is hard to find both here and in search engines without it being about schools. Anyone with experience? Pay on time? Steady work? Etc?

I'm thinking of applying but I always like to hear about companies first.

TIA
I live in Oregon and have not heard of them...sm

Need on Advanced Transcription out of Oregon...SM
Wondering if they have flexible shifts or if you have to stick to a certain timeframe everyday, and whether or not you can just do clinic work or if they require the big 4.

Any other info such as how you liked the job, etc., would be great, too.
I've been there a few weeks (Oregon)...
and you can feel free to e-mail me with specific questions, be glad to tell you what I know to this point.
Are you asking about Advanced Transcription in Oregon?
nm
Advanced Transcription out of Oregon
They ask that you give them which 3 days of the week you'll be working for part-time though, but the TAT is 24 hours.  You may want to check them out.  www.advancedtx.com I think is the site.
NEMT and Advanced in Oregon...
are two I'm familiar with and would recommend either... NEMT I believe is hiring, saw their ad not long ago. Feel free to email me with specific questions if you'd like. Good luck!
I did work for Advanced in Oregon

You have to tell them which days you'll be working and have to e-mail them if you cannot stick to your schedule and if you are a no show (which is not in my opinon IC work), then they'll terminate you.

Advanced uses Iscriptor and it's clunky.  They run out of work and switch you to another account with a large learning curve.  You are also monitored on messenger.

@dvanced transcription out of Oregon
I've been hired. I thought it would be neat to have some fellow co-workers added to the Spark IM program they use. If you want to do this, please send me a message.
Denmed Transcription out of Salem, Oregon.. Anyone??
Just wondering if anyone has any information out there on this company. Thanks.
Think you have the wrong Advanced Transcription. This one is in Oregon..

Scratching my head on this one...

Was this the Oregon GL or the other one? (don't know state) What prompted you to leave? nm

Denmed Transcription out of Salem, Oregon.. Anyone??

Not sure if you ever got a reply back to your posted question about DENMED.

DENMED is a Salem, Oregon MT business that in my biased opinion is GREAT.  Not only do they treat their staff honestly and fairly (yes I did work for them) but they also treat their clientele with the utmost respect.  They handle both large and small accounts.  Hope this helps.  I have included a link to their website.

A 7.8 in Oregon would of been front-page news, and we'd
So nope, no quake-a-rooni up there. According to USGS, the only ones up there in the past week have been a mag. 1-2, so small as to only be felt by seismographs.
