Have you been to their websites? Here's one of them.
For the less famous companies, sometimes the best I can do is to study their websites and then e-mail a resume to see who wants to talk. Then I ask my questions.

I visited the site as
In one of the forums, you suggest to someone (who complained about not having enough work) to try Spheris. What exactly is your role in relationship to MTReviews.org?

If you are actually trying to get new MTs for MTReviews.org, which you say is a brand new company, why suggest to someone to try Spheris? Is this really just a front to get people to go to the site so they can see the post about the 3cpl incentive for finding a new client?
Thanks for the info. I just visited
MTDesk for the first time.  Wasn't even aware of it.  Pretty cool!!  Thanks again.
Visited but what if somebody wants to post anon. They have

all info to know who posts what so seems to me that the problems and negative things about the company will not get posted there.  To register to post you have to give name and e-mail address, etc. which would not make it easy for somebody to track a poster down.  Just my 2cents.

Has anyone from MDI-MD visited the discussion forum at the new web site? sm
I checked it out awhile ago, but I guess it is still too new as there are no real discussions.  I do not think that D or any of the liaisons monitor the MT Stars boards, but surely they will look at their own.  Maybe if all of the unhappy people post their concerns there, the issue will be addressed in a manner more satisfactory to everyone.  Just a thought ........
Any website visited, any e-mail sent/received is
on that computer.  I don't know if they can access your computer when not connected, but all the information is there when you connect should they want to access it.   I always used another computer for nonwork related issues, not that I was paranoid or had anything to hide, I just thought it was a good idea.
Correction. Just visited the forum and the "food stamps"
post seems to have magically disappeared.  Hmmmmmmmmmm.. wonder why.
Sigh ... I fell in love with California the first time I visited when I was 17. sm

Unfortunately, I cannot afford to live there, but I agree -- you couldn't pay me enough to drive a bus in LA or SF.  I wouldn't even want to do it here in Denver.  Bus drivers, truck drivers, all of those who get around in big cities with big vehickles to accommodate have my utmost respect. I have trouble just backing up a car, much less somthing big as a house!

As for the bankruptcy thing, I admit I avoid the news if possible so I do not know about those issues, but I assume California will survive.

Unfortunately, I cannot afford to live there, and I cannot even imagine trying to drive a bus in LA or SF or SD -- they deserve every penny they get!  Heck, I wouldn't even want to drive a bus here in Denver.  I have the utmost respect for bus drivers, truck drivers, and anyone else who drives in big cities with big vehicles in traffic and all that.  I have trouble just backing out a car, much less something as big as a house!

As for the bankruptcy thing, I must admit I play ostrich most of the time and do not watch the news so I haven't heard about that.  Guess even paradise has trouble.
