Recent contact said 1100lpd AND 8hrs of time must occur for benes. 8.5 cpl/no benes, 9cpl benes. nm
,
I also just recently applied there and
they ask on their application what hours, days, etc you are available...well, recruiter called me, asked what I was looking for, then told me there were no positions right now...hello! I just wasted my time taking their tests...with 15 years experience...no time off in between...I think they have no work available!
I don't know. I recently applied for a job with them and it was in the info they sent me. nm

I recently applied to them. The day after I sent my resume in

I got an e-mail that they would call, never did.   I then went ahead and tested through their website and notified them that I had tested.  They e-mailed me that they would have QA pull the file immediately.  It took 2 days for them to get back with me via e-mail, never did get a phone call.

They've had ads running continuously the last few months and I'm sure they are swamped, but  you should hear something within a few days.  If you have tested and it has been more than 3 or 4 days it wouldn't hurt to touch base.

I recently applied, what kind of

problems were they having?

I had applied very recently and uhhhhh
I'd say they are not willing to pay either.  Maybe they are spoiled by their other MTs in other countries.
Applied to Axolotl Recently...

Hello,

I applied a week ago to Axolotl, but have not heard anything yet.  Did it take awhile for them to contact you?  I was really hoping to get in with this company.  Good luck to you!

Thanks!

Applied twice recently to Med-Tech and they never replied. They pay 6-9 cpl and want 150 lph. nm
m
Recently applied at local hospital that paid incentive.
The local hospital here also pays hourly plus incentive. New MTs start at $15 an hour and then anything over 120 lines are paid at an incentive rate with the incentive rate increasing with the more lines you completed.
Didn't know there was one on this site?
nm
Didn't they recently acquire RapidText?

Are they U.S. based and do not outsource transcription out of U.S. ?

Didn't we just recently have ads to hire more MTs at Webmedx and also (sm)

have notices of referral bonuses if we referred people?  I am hoping they are ramping up for new accounts and this is just a temporary thing as new people are put on existing accounts.

I know all companies have ups and downs and I have been around long enough to know you have to go with the flow, but I have seen many, many posts about this company over-hiring and am a little concerned.

Anyone???  Encouraging info please???

Benes
WebMedX is less expensive and although Medware's ins. is okay, WebMedX is better, IMO. You can ask their recruiters - they will give you that information. They understand you need to make an informed decision. I've worked for both companies.
I get 11 cpl but still wish I had benes..nm
.
How's the pay/benes? Do they
pay for spaces, headers/footers, demos, etc.? I wish we had a chart that showed who pays for what & their average pay range... ;)
An ad here from April said FT job w/benes, but pay is said to be low and
s
Benes for less than 35 hours

S.O.A.P. does.  Great to work for too!

With 10+ yrs, 9 cpl is okay as an employee with benes,
but not good as an IC. You can do better than that.
What are the benes like at Focus?
(Specifically, for QA/QC/auditors.)  How much PTO do you get, is health insurance expensive, etc.  Any info would be greatly appreciated!
You are still wrong to thank your company on an MT site, appropriate is your site.
NM
Use ExText software, 150 lph to get benes, pay is 7.4-10 cpl. nm
b
Don't know about benes, but some places inside
SPI/Cymed (32 hrs?? maybe).  Opti-Script (min. of 35 hrs), Northeast Transcription (32 hrs/1000 lpd, but pay on 70-char. lines at 7-8 cpl).  Transolutions (32 hrs), SOAP Transcription (32 hrs), and Med-Scribe, Florida (35 hrs). This is not recently dated information and may have changed since last obtained. nm
Yes, they offer benes, std 90-day wait....sm
Insurance very affordable. Pay on time, direct deposit. Seem to have plenty of work and set you up with more than 1 account as necessary. DVI platform.
The letter said that the STM has the discretion to not let your benes be s/m
affected. I would not take that as gospel in this day and age.
Wanted to add, that's as an employee with benes.
x
Yes, and also figured into that is the loss of benes,
sick days, PTO, insurance, etc., that you would get with employee status.
Good line rate, benes and ins.
Have been with Webmedx a while and they offer BCBS, Delta Dental, disability and life ins, plus PTOs.  Line rate,  supervision, work platform and company are all awesome in my book.  Been an MT for 20 years....Good luck.  Hope this helps.
Old posts had them starting at 6 cpl and topping out at 9 cpl. Don't know about any benes. nm
s
Seems fair, especially if there is a 90 day waiting period for benes just like a new hire. nm
.
8 hrs & 1100 lpd have to occur for FT benes. FT pay 8.5 cpl. People have had trouble with paychecks

Can I asked when you applied? I applied a few weeks ago
and never heard a word and I have over 16 years of experience. I applied because I got a recommendation from a friend of a friend who loves working there..Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get anymore details other than that.  I'm all for even one positive at this point on this frustrating job search. Good luck to you though and check back with us to tell us how the interview went etc. Thanks
No. I applied, but I've applied SM

at a lot of places lately.  I got an e-mail from a lady whose name starts with an M, but she didn't identify her company in the letter.  She had my resume on the bottom of her e-mail, so I know it's someone I applied with, but I don't know which one!!  LOL  I'm thinking it's The Word Pros.  Anyone else apply to The Word Pros and get an e-mail from M?

I'd love to hear information about them as well.

1000 per day - nm
x
Are you serious? Someone doing 1000 lph?
I have not seen that. Don’t know how in the world that would be done.
1000 LINES PER DAY
How long does it take to do 1000 lines per day for a mix of dictators for acute care. Thanks
It's $1000, and you would't believe what the premium is. nm
xxx
950-1000 weekly?
So I am curious, what company do you work with to make 950-1000 a week? I will be a new MT at the end of May next year, and I would like to know. If you dont mind that is.
When I said $1000 a month - sm
I meant that is what it would cost to get a good family policy without a ridiculous deductible through other companies.

I was offered a position by another company and turned it down because the premium was $900+ per month. However, it covered a lot more and had much less out of pocket than this policy has turned out to have. Maybe I should have chosen differently.
Minimum of 1000 lpd at 8 to 8.25 cpl. nm
f
Meaning, you are not getting 1000....
which I thought was the requirement. I have a friend who tried them out and went days without work.
DSG is 35hrs/1000 lpd.
.
i strive for $1000 a
week and can usually hit it in 40 hours or so.
$1000 deductible
I'm single and I pay $75 per period for the $1000 deductible, $25 office visit.  There is also a $2000 deductible option that a single person would pay $37.50 per pay period, $30 office visit.
1000 lines a day. nm
x
MedWare might be 1000 lpd for FT as it's 500 lpd for
s
I had over 1000 lines my first day
Still going up as I build my Expanders and get used to the docs.
they have ins with a $1000 deduc sm
or 2500 deduc. About a 30 dollar difference per month. 401 K, dental, eye, life insurance, etc. etc. Pretty decent package.
Over 1000 lph? You must be rich!
LOL
even 6 a ripoff $7,50 hr/1000 ln/day 125 ln hr
that is $60 a day. Take longer than 8 hours, less hourly. Com'on. Com'on. Wake up, lesser of the 2 evils acceptable. Nope, not me.
$1000 weekly gives me a goal to aim for
I look forward to reaching that goal!
What is a good pay per 1000 words?

How many words are on a 65 character line - in general?
