Zylomed North Florida, Inc....is this the same as Zylomed?

And does anyone have any current info on them...do they hire IC?  Thanks!

It is great that you have referred
I have too, and I would suggest others to give them a call.  They are a good company to work for and I have been very happy there.
I just referred my friend who was hired
no physical, don't know when they stopped it, background check yes - 2 weeks to hire date and benefits after 90 days. I work on 2 accounts and have no trouble at all making my lines. I have nothing bad to say about this company but everyone has their own experience.
All caps is referred to as shouting. Yes, I know of them...
I don't know about now, but a few years ago I worked for them and had a negative experience.
Not too worry.. I'm just feeling bad that I was probably the one who referred you to them LOL

Before we received the we're sharing our work with our partners speech, I was happily referring them and now I'm in the middle of taking another job. If that one works out and they dont offshore, I'll look you up LOL

The ones I referred to never worked for Keystrokes. sm
They worked for the hospital and then as ICs for the hospital. I did not mean to upset anyone. If you were a mother/daughter team at Keystrokes, and I think I know who as there were 3 and now only 1, then you were well-liked and appreciated. I know for a fact that the owner speaks very highly of all three of the mom/daughter teams, even the two who are gone, saying that she wished they were back.

These two MTs never worked there; they were from the hospital and had never worked anywhere else!

I would never intentionally offend anyone and certainly did not mean to do so by the post. The two who chased Keystrokes off the account were proud of it.

I am the person that Sleepy MT referred to
I work for On Time. I worked with Sleepy MT at the same company that was taken over by On Time. As far as the foot pedal, you can use on but they don't recommend it. They use F1, F2, F3 keys to stop, start and rewind. It took some getting used to but is okay. I still prefer the foot pedal though. I do neurology for 4 companies and there have been only a few times that there wasn't work but getting my line quota in is difficult on most days. Part timers are required 500/day or 2500/week. Full time is 1000/day or 5000/week. I do full time and it is difficult to get my 1000 lines in a day since most documents are very short (follow ups, etc). I usually work 8 a.m. to at least 6 p.m. each day. Most work is not available until 9 or 10 unless it is left over from the day before. Like I said, there is work but it is slow most of the time. There is almost never any work on the weekends so if you are planning on doing this on the weekend, this probably isn't for you. I am not sure if they are hiring right now. The jobs posted on the web site have been there forever and I am not sure when they were last updated. As far as the e-mail not working, the person who was in charge (whose e-mail that is) retired and I don't know if they updated or not. I make 0.8 cpl but if it is a template that the doc pulls in, I only get 0.4 cpl. My supervisor is pretty nice but she just took over for my old one who wasn't so great (the old one took the retired person's job). Support is kind of iffy. I find a lot of typos in a lot of the templates. They are a production based company so accuracy is not a high priority for them which really bothers me a lot. Basically, they are an okay company to work for. I am looking for something else part time so I can move down to part time with this though. My hands are wearing out and it takes WAY too much time to get my quota in every day. If you have any more questions, you can e-mail me if you like. Hope this helps.
Where'd my post go? I'm the ŕst person" referred to...
and I was only ASKING how she could be a CMT with only 8 months' experience! That's a legitimate question, I think, because the AAMT website clearly states that MTs must have a minimum of 2 years' acute care experience before testing for their CMT.

I realize a poster later confirmed this, but as my post has been deleted and referred to, I wanted to clarify what I actually said. My post was not insulting. I was asking a question. :-) Thanks-

Curious
It was referred to as stealing in a conference call by mgrs. sm
Your equation doesn't always prove true if there is little work, if a person's primary account is an overflow account, or if it is the last few days of the pay period.  If people are scrambling to get jobs on their shifts and someone else comes along who doesn't normally work that shift, but is just doing so out of convenience for themselves, they are taking lines from what little jobs there are from the people who abide by the rules and what they had been asked by management.  This is most definitely stealing lines from fellow MLSs. Perhaps you have been fortunate enough to have a primary account that always has heavy volume, and that may account for why you had never been told this by management. But, a good share of accounts aren't like this, and this has repeatedly been addressed by management as a problem issue.  If it wasn't a problem, upper management (Larry) would never have brought it up in conference calls and in email.
Not to be referred to as a "scribe" or "typist" or "typing pool." nm

Zylomed

Any info on Zylomed in Naples Fl (not the North Fla one).  Was offered a job there.  Got mixed reviews in the archives but not sure which one was being reviewed. You can email me directly. Thanx.

Zylomed

Any info on this company, good or bad?  I am considering a position with them.  Thanks.

ZyloMed
Thanks for responding. How would this affect my working for them (sending offshore)?
ZyloMed
Thanks. I have decided against them now for more than one reason. I think they were a little too anxious to hire; they seemed desperate almost.
Zylomed

Get your facts straight before you post!  Zylomed does not offshore now and only did as the previoiusly poster said one small account and then the Indians could not even do it, so they gave up the account.

Zylomed is an EXCELLENT company to work for.  They have nice managers, and the owner Susan Sumner is by far one of the nicest women I have ever worked for in this industry.  They are a good company, they pay on time, and always have work, and when they do not the Lead MT who is over everyone makes sure that there is work to go round.  I speak from experience, as I worked for them part time, for about a year, and found them to be honest, upfront, and nice people.  They have lots of radiology.  I was sorry that I ever left, but had a family illness.

zylomed
I just started working for them and everyone is nice, helpful and polite and pay was on time. I would go for it.
Zylomed

Anybody know if Zylomed hires employees or just IC, and if employees do they provide health insurance? Thanks! TC

ZyloMed
Any info on ZyloMed? TIA
zylomed
I have been working for them for about 3 months.   It is a good company.  Pay is twice a month and automatically deposited and on time.   Good QA, system easy to learn.  People are nice.  If there is anything else you need to know let me know.
Zylomed
Any current info available?  Do they offer health insurance. TIA.
Zylomed
Great company. Very happy there. I only do radiology so cannot speak for other accounts.
Zylomed
Does anyone know about the Zylomed Transcription Service in Florida, are they a good company to work for, any information would help. Thanks - Alice
zylomed
I need some feedback/info on zylomed, are they any good?
Zylomed

I am in need of information on Zylomed out of Florida - good, bad or indifferent.

Zylomed

Never see much about Zylomed.  Does anyone know anything about them?

Thanks in advance.

Zylomed sent me their foot pedal and I have been on the phone for training - always with a problem that arises.  I have literally sat in front of my computer screen for 3 hours this afternoon waiting to hear from an IT person so that I can get on with my training.  Has anyone else had this experience?  Anyone know anything about this company.  I passed their test - which is why I got a call in the first place.  I was told that they had no idea when someone would contact me - maybe again on Monday - yikes!!!!!  Should I run now or later?
Zylomed
?
Zylomed
I will be doing an orthopedic and neurology account. The IT person called me this morning and when I finish my work for the other company I am working for he is going to help me - I have experienced some sort of problem with every company that I have worked for - in fact, when I lived in SC and worked for the local hospital there - it took me almost a month to get set up and going.
Zylomed
I have received two e-msils from Jim. He wants to call tomorrow, but now I am having second thoughts. He contacted me about rad work. It pays quite well, should I be worried? Has anyone done rad work for them? Please let me know so I know whether to take his call or not tomorrow.

I too had an unfortunate experience with them. I was very happy working for them for one year. Had two ESL's that I found easy to do eventually. The docs were very pleased with my work.

Then, I relocated and took some time off. When I came back, was told there wasn't enough work for me and was terminated that day. NO NOTICE, nothing. In addition, I have yet to receive my COBRA papers so I have no insurance. I have called them upteen times (Kelly is in charge of this and never returns calls)and now turned it over to the FL Dept of Labor. I hated doing this, but felt I had no recourse. Kelly blames the payroll people. Could be they are the problem, but no one is taking care of it.

And, I know what you mean about Jim. I thought he and I were friends (exchanged email jokes, etc), but he won't take my calls either. Jon, the IT guy is the best! Sad sad situation. Very disappointing.

I will be working with ATSI (radiology only) as they use the same platform. Anyone familiar with them?
ZyloMed

Anybody work for ZyloMed or know anything about them?

Zylomed
I was hired as an IC - sent a footpedal and their IT person could not get the platform to work - so they called and told me that I was fired - to which I responded they couldn't fire me because I was an IC and had never formally done any work for them. In looking further - the footpedal was broken - clipped/broken wires - this was their loss (15 years experience) not mine - glad I saw their true colors sooner than later. Check them out thoroughly before going with them.
ZyloMed
anyone familiar with Zylomed transcription company?
Zylomed
I was wondering the same thing. I got an E-mail from them today regarding a job. The pay sounds nice, but how are they to work for?
zylomed
thanks for input. i think I'll bail out of this one. susan
zylomed

Anyone work for them?  Are you happy there?  Please give me some info

zylomed
was wondering the same thing - i returned the questionnaire last friday and nothing........then another MT I know went to the website and filled out a different questionnaire on the following Tuesday and she received an email asking when would be the best time to call her - go figure?????
Zylomed - not for me
Jim, the hiring manager was not a good communicator. He offered me a job and told me that he was sending me the paperwork. I waited a week and still no paperwork. I called him and he never returned my phone calls. I e-mailed him and he never returned my e-mails. This company does not have their heads on straight in my opinion!
zylomed
Anyone currently working for them? How are they to work for?
Zylomed??
I talked to them some time back and they hired me but their IT person could never get the MT-World to work on my computer - I then got a call that they would have to let me go????? My response, I never worked one minute for you guys. I just took it for what it was and moved on. But if the IT person couldn't get things up and running in a week and then I get a call - that sent up a red flag - so I can't recommend them.
Zylomed
Anyone know anything about this company?  Their website has very little info on it.  I'm working for another national and not making much money because of all the ESLs.  Zylomed said that I would be asigned exclusively to one doc or group of docs.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.
zylomed
I work for them and like my job. If you need any more info email me
ZyloMed

Has anyone worked for ZyloMed?  I can't find too much info about them from their site and I'm suppose to have an interview with them tomorrow.

Zylomed did me the same way
But it was the footpedal - it was their footpedal - the IT person couldn't get it to work - so they called and said they were sorry, but they would have to let me go - I told them that I never did any work for them, so how could they let me go I just chalked it up to experience - but I wasn't out $1000 - I believe small claims court is in order here.
Zylomed
IT guy is great. HR guy is not. Otherwise, no problems with them.
I believe Zylomed does...nm

ZyloMed

Hello. Can anyone give me any new information on whether or not ZyloMed is a good company to work for.  I searched the Archives and most all comments are from 2004 and older (I think there was one from 2005).  Thanks very much to all who respond.  Have a great day!
