I participate in that vicious cycle

Posted By: oldMT on 2007-05-17
In Reply to: Out of all of you that are complaining about no work, how many work extra - when there's a ton to be done? Hmm?

Where you sit waiting for jobs to come up when there is little work to beat someone else to them then also try to do extra to help catch things up when there's extra work. The result? Burnout and no life.

By "regular pay cycle", I meant every 2 weeks or
!!
No, it seemed that you were the vicious one. Everyone else sm
seemed to be trying to soothe you. What beef do you have with them? Did you ever even work there? Leave it be. I work for MQ and think that Keystrokes is where I will end up.
If you don't want to participate, please be considerate of those of us who are..sm
It would sure make it easier on those of us who are interested not to have to weed through all the rude remarks. If you feel this is an old rant then why waste your time? Let it go and just show some consideration to the many of us that are curious.
I did a post on this once and MTs were vicious...sm
I was stunned! And you are right about attitude. The most miserable ppl I've ever dealt with are the MTs on THIS board. Maybe they need to take a weekend off!
I wouldn't participate at all if I had my choice.
Christmas is nothing more than a nationwide peer-imposed materialistic waste. Religion and family don't mean anything to anyone any more. It's all about who can outdo the Joneses. It's an utter waste of money on lights and decorations, extra utility costs, too much food and drink, junk presents nobody wants or needs; cards, pictures, wrapping paper and trees that people just throw into landfills. But hey, as long as the retail stores and CEOs all profit, we should keep lining their pockets and spending money we don't have. I'm so tired of it all. It's too stressful. I'm tired of working extra jobs just to pay for it all. Every single commercial on TV tells the kids to gimme, gimme, gimme their parents.
