screwdriver with a different type of screw.

It does not sound like you are out of a job. How about going to them instead of complaining to a group of people who cannot help you get started? Call Becky at ext 301. She helps everyone with everything.

My husband is a carpenter and has his own tools. sm
There are a lot of professions, employees, who have to have their own tools including plumbers, mechanics, cement finishers and hairdressers. I am sure there are more, but those I can think of off the top of my head right now.
when I started working the proper sm
word for us was Transcriptionist and the transcriber was the transcribing machine sitting on my desk. don't be so picky. Nobody cares.
Those are proper names of things and need to be looked up and

"The Suits" is the proper term for these people.
There are Suits in every industry.  They are the MBAs and they consider business a giant chess board.  So much fun to move all the little pieces around and see what happens.  Don't be afraid to sacrifice your pawns.
Set your preferences in Word (tools)
to do this. Shorthand does not have this option. If this does not work, you can write a macro to do it, but it would be a very complex macro to write
MTSOs like you are total tools.
Try treating your MTs like valuable employees, and not expendable machinery, why dontcha?
Here's the productivity tools site

I wish I could help you with transferring the expander, but I can't.  MIne doesn't work in Bayscribe (I use Stedman's Smartype) so I type it in Word and then cut and paste into Bayscribe.

Good luck with your expander!

Short answer - about a month. There are a lot of tools that sm
you can use. Talk to your lead about SH and other ways to increase your speed on there. Once you are used to it, you will actually like it!
Then provide samples and learning tools.
We are all only human.  The doctor is supposed to be reviewing and signing these reports they dictate.  Are they not?  If they sign off a report that has an error, that then makes the dictating physician liable, not the MT.  This docking for errors sounds like another scheme to make money off of hard-working MTs.    tsk tsk
Sure, go to Tools, Options, Save, and then look on the bottom....sm
There at the bottom you have options of using a password to modify, password to open, and read-only recommended. You can also do the same thing under File, Save As, on the border of the Save As box on the far right there is the Tools option and brings up the same options, tools, then general options. I would recommend just adding the password to it. Then when you open it, it will ask you for the password to modify or open as a read only.
I agree. You still have to know punctuation, proper English, tenses, sentence structure, etc. Show

Forget AHDI, just follow the instructions for how to write proper authorities use your own words-sm
I'm afraid folks are not acting.  Maybe it won't do any good, but certainly if we don't raise our voices, the chances are not good for us.
