They were only hiring for 5 positions

I know that the recruiter was overwhelmed with the amount of resumes she received.  However, I do know that they go through the resumes and keep the qualified MTs on file for the next time they hire.

We were recently hiring - not sure if positions are still open.NM

They're hiring for radiology positions (nm)
.
Tax info doesn't have to be mailed until
January 31, although it can be sent out earlier.   Much too early to be worrying about it now.  If you don't get it call the IRS and they'll take care of it.    You should always save check stubs for this very reason.
Karen, thanks for the info..I just e-mailed you. (nm)

MTx13, I just e-mailed you my resume and contact info! nm

They aren't hiring and this was mentioned over several days a few
months ago.
The hiring process usually takes a couple of days,
but depending on the account it can take about 2 weeks to actually be working.
When I inquired about employment...
which was a few months ago, the recruiter couldn't explain the pay scale and/or incentive program.  Keep on truckin'...
MedScribe info a few days
Mostly about the work and benefits.  You should be able to find it, I remember the posts.  Sounded like they were OK.
That is what I just said. !0 days PTO, period. That includes vacation, sick days and personal days
They should have paid holidays so that you are paid if you take off. Also should inculde extra hours for sick days and personal days.

That annual raise of .002 is kind of a joke especially when at the same time they upped the minimum line requirement from 10,000 lines to 12,000 lines.

OSi just does not have the qualified people in management positions that I wish to work for.

I am glad that you are happy at OSi and all is working out for you. Their dishonesty and the way they treat people just does not work for me.

Of course they can get by cheaply by hiring unqualified people so that is very good for the owners.
Inquired to Transform about 2 weeks ago. sm...
They didn't answer a single question in my email, not even as to PT or FT positions open. Just sent a form letter saying they needed to know if we both were "a good fit" as far as MY computer system went  before proceeding. Asked me to download some kind of computer configuration checker (or stalker!) that would get into my machine, do a little look-see, and then the program itself would email them back Automatically with the specifics of my hard drive! Like I can't just read you the numbers myself and check my own system?!!! I think not!! And then once that happened, you were instructed to do 5 test files and then 6 oral dictations, whatever those would be. Asking quite a lot and risking cooties to the computer when they don't even answer any questions first. Not a good way to do business in my book. Good luck.
i actually inquired recently about a position
and they told me they pay by the gross line, which I think is great as not too many places do that. All they asked me was if I had PC Anywhere and a Dictaphone, both of which I do. Maybe things have changed from when you inquired.
Axolotl for those who have inquired in the past
Axolotl is again hiring.
MDI-MD? Are they hiring now? Any info about them? Thx. NM

Info only - 8 cpl is their cap!, use eScription mostly w/2 other platforms, 10 days of QA before
,
Any recent info on Transolutions? 29 days PTO? sm

I am very interested in working for Transolutions again.  It's been many years and I'm currently with the Q.  I went on the Transolutions website and it looks like I can accumulate a total of 29 days of PTO after only three years - granted 6 days for holidays, 3 for personal, a week for sick, etc...?  This certainly beats MQ's 18 days PTO after (I believe) five years of employment.

Does anyone know how Transolutions tuition reimbursement works?  Is it for a specific school, field related and/or specific classes?  I'd also like to further my education but can't afford to and MQ doesn't have any type of tuition reimbursement so that would be nice to have.

I already know about Transolutions' QA program and how they will deduct if you don't meet a 97% score??? - can't remember exact percentage but I didn't have any problems with their QA so not too worried about that.

I'm looking to do radiology only.

TIA.

I can't find any info. I applied a few days sm
ago and have heard nothing. Curiosity is getting the best of me.
Not according to the AAMT when I inquired. So in reality a recruiter
who is an employee of a company can write up a glowing review in hopes of MTs flocking to the company.
I inquired and it's just a gal running a small business looking for IC work. nm
..
My previous post was verbatim from the company when I inquired at employment. Maybe (sm)
they tell everyone something different, like what they THINK they want to hear.....Guess I should have put it in quotes.
P.S. Sounds as though they are hiring for large teaching hospitals from the ad. Any info would be
appreciated.
I see Precyse is hiring for new accounts. Would appreciate recent info on this company. (sm)
most of what I have found is pretty old.  Are the current employes squelched when it comes to giving out information regarding the company or are they just so busy they don't have time to mess around on the boards?   E-mail if you are concerned about being flamed or don't want to post for whatever reason.  TIA.
Any current info on Med-Scribe? They're hiring and all I can find on here is from 2004. Thx!
.
You bill 30 days behind, and they snail mail it so it's late - about 40 days from invoice
No way jose - they even messed up their direct deposit payments
Maybe she/he works 14 hour days/7 days a week? nm
x
Would that be 5 business days or 5 regular days?
So when are we going to be paid this time around since you're so knowledgable?

Sorry, but for some of us a day or 2 actually makes a difference.
Most want 20 hours over 5 days, but it could be more, or it could be spread over 4 days. nm
s
Correction - TH has 5 PTO days 1st year/10 days 2nd yr

Axolotl within 30 days. Transolutions in 60 days. NM

It is true. Any job has its good days and bad days.
Perhaps you'd like to just keep your old job and try this one out. Just because a poster here is crabbing about it, or even if as in the past there have been negative posts, odds are that there are very happy people who don't even post or know that this board exists. As Alice says. Everything is relative. The fact that this company is hiring and pays may be a place which is a blessing. As opposed to digging ditches on day labor for example. Or somebody might prefer digging ditches. This is just an example. Sometimes we who are employable, even though we don't make as much as we used to in this business, or as much as we would like to, we still if working at home do not pay for gas to go to work, career clothes, deal with office politics, have to look at a boss who writes us up if we are a minute late, etcetera. I don't make half as much as I used to, but I don't send my 3 children to day care which by the way saves us money. SO I remind my husband I am worth that in addition to my salary if I had a job outside. No job is perfect. I am not even sure if Focus is any good or not, I have not worked there. But if one poster says there are good days and bad, I say that is the most honest answer you are going to get anywhere, and if you need a job badly, how is it to hurt trying it out, until you know for sure for yourself? THanks for listening. But sometimes this board gets to be a bit much with the agendas of people railing on other people like the OP here who just wanted all opinions instead of just one side. Balance is always great. And, if things seem lop-sided, then it is a good thing to seek out both sides. IMHO.
I think they would. Those are good days for 10-hour days. sm
I have a set schedule but it is Tues-Sat and it works well for me. It wouldn't hurt to ask!
90 days is correct. 3 days off 1st year, 10 during 2nd.
nm
Maybe MQ is over hiring now in preparation for something. Must be some reason they keep hiring when
some people have not work.
Thanks, I e-mailed you!

I just e-mailed you as well...sm
