Just a little leery as to why

a certain recruiter continously call me with the same question, have I gave notice to my present job yet?  He called me 4 times last week telling me that my account will start soon and if I gave my two-week notice yet?  Everytime he calls me he emphasize this question.  Have anyone else experienced this?  Can anyone give me any insight as to why he continously hound me with this question?  Could it be that the account I am scheduled for is so horrible that they think I will not have any other options once I have left my prior job?  If this be the case, then he is sadly mistaken because my middle name is quit if you do not fit!!!  So any insight would be helpful.

Be Leery
Guy interviews people, talks on the phone for hours - requests you to get some special doing business forms/registration from county where you live (since he previously got in trouble with IRS or something), then takes forever to get back to you, makes very strict requirements, etc. - be careful. I've talked to many people about this company, and NO ONE yet has gone to work for him ... something seems very fishy. After I told my husband about interview with him, he was very uncomfortable with the whole thing, too.
And the more we know, the the more leery we are of
.
Was going to sign with them, but am leery
That makes me nervous, having to wait for a paper check. Don't like that scenario. Other than that, contract didn't look too bad. Low pay for IC, but not intolerable.
I would be extremely leery
of starting up with a company if there was a lot of negative comments here.  Granted, we have all had bad experienes with different companies and there are sour grapes out there but if there are a number of negative comments and the comments seem reasonable and not real 'anger-based' - just mostly frustrated - then I would make note of them.  We are only going to grow and stay united if we give appropriate feedback from our experiences.  If you do start with this company, just be cautious and don't quit the one you are with now unless you have a really good feeling about them.  IMHO only.
I'd be leery of working for someone who can't put...
up an 'on vacation' response so it doesn't seem like they're ignoring emails.
