It's obvious NOTHING HAS CHANGED AT ALL!  Rude, stupid people running this company.  That's why they have such a high turnover.  They can't keep anyone!  Hello!  I mean, look, this is a good example of how dense the mgt of SS is:  They post awful, rude, childish CRAP on this board and then try to tell you, oh, things have changed, it's not like that anymore.  Yeah, right...

    lots of those folks didn't believe what they were told either. It just took a few years to really hit them. Now they are all screaming.

    The poster has a right to post what she did. The other posters also have a right to post the positive posts they have. I am glad they did post. I just wish I had known all this before I went to work for LM, I would have weighed all this out and been more careful as far as looking for signs that I was not going to get paid, i.e., I wouldn't have done as much work the first pay period until I saw that I did get paid on time.
    I'm sure you'very read many posts about mandatory OT on this board.

    As you can see from her post.  They are trying to sweet talk us into putting more money in their pockets with VR.  A billion lines per hour you'll make!  Millions you'll make!!!  Come on, you believe 'em, doncha ya?? 


    Sorry TT Management:  The MTs are not as stupid and naive as you obviously think we are.  TT used to be a good company to work for.  Now, only good for MANAGEMENT.

    about VR being great for the MT!  You'll make a million lines per hours!  You'll be wealthy beyond Donald Trump!  You'll feel like you won the lottery! 


    OK, now go back to counting your money.  Only a few of the more naive and ignorant believe your claims, so you can save your breath--or your typing fingers.  Hey, I know, why don't you, Management, try living on the money that VR brings in?  Then come back and post here.  Until then, like I said, go back to counting your money. 


    The only thing I don't agree with is that the posts from management
    would keep me from there. I think they are small enough to be personal. I think they will learn as they grow though to not react so strongly that this too shall pass. I know that a friend of mine who works there is a lead Transcriptionist now and is learning to be a manager as she goes, so not all of them are bought like at MQ and Spheris and the like. I think they are all transcriptionists who have been promoted from what I understand which might explain a lot of why they feel they have to defend the company.

    MTs aren't going to post cheerleading posts happy about having their pay cut for the same amount of time/work... It is very time-consuming to correct the mess VR cranks out.

    Reading some of these posts, I see management is out in full force
    trying to run damage control. No MT who just got her pay cut is going to say, yay, who cares if I'm going to be making less money, this great company is still paying slightly more than some of those fly-by-night companies, and I luv my new paycut....

    I did not read all the posts but...
    11 cpl is still available in some areas if you are working independently...straight for the doctor...especially out west, but then you have to pick up work,deliver, etc., or work 'in house'. My relative in Washington State was getting 14cpl !!! Then again, she was young, blond, and beautiful! Might have gotten a higher cpl just for that!!! hey! facts of life.

    This makes me sad.  They always stayed under the radar, had stable crew, never a bad post. Hope it is a temporary rough patch. I always thought if the recruiter you talked with had been there for years (versus 3 or 4 days like most) it was a sign of a good company.

    You do not have time to filter through the rest of the garbage.  If someone's post is not useful and contributing, then ignore it.  Don't even respond.  This interview alone may not make a difference, but when you add it to the next one, to the complaint letters, etc. there is a combined effort that can make a difference because of course you want it to go beyond one letter, one interview, one complaint, one industry.  Trickle up so to speak.

    nor will I waste my time. I am quite offended by the comment of being an MT is not that hard or special. Its comments like that which have put this profession down where it is.

    Obviously you are not a professional MT or you wouldn't even think that much less say it.

    Those of us who have been in this business any length of time have been through it all. It is a difficult profession. The knowledge we must have to turn out a perfect medical/legal report is unreal. The doctors who dictate the stuff could not put together a report as we have.

    Over the last few years with VR coming along and everybody and his brother and sister wanting to be an MT, the quality has gone to pot and it seems that it is an accepted fact which is very sad.

    BTW, yes I am one of those MTs who go to the doctors office and talk in medical terms but I dont' tell them I am an MT because they usually ask what I do for a living. You know what? Being able to understand and communicate with these doctors has saved my life in the past. How about you? If you are an MT, then I dare say with your attitude, you don't have a whole lot of pride in what you do and consider this to be nothing more than a typist job!

    I have already called the management company who manages this building. They have no knowledge of a JAX Transcription who currently occupies or who will be occupying.

    I need the suite number in order to check it out. There are several businesses in that office building. The rent in that building is very high...doubtful that a new company would start out in that building because of this.

    If I have the suite number, I can go and see who actually occupies the suite. BUT, according to the management company, there is no such company in their building. This is the same building that Transcend is in. I have called Transcend and they have never heard of this Company. If you call the phone number that is provided in the posting by this company, you will get a regular answering machine. I think this is totally bogus.
    I have read all of the recent posts that came up
    when I searched, was wanting more information as it did not answer all the questions I had, that is why I was asking someone to email if they could give me more specifics. Thanks.
    I've read the old posts
    before I accepted a position with them and I am glad I ignored them. I find my line rate to be very fair compared to what I have seen advertised for other companies, no it isn't the 14 cpl that I used to get on my own but who would expect that now anyway :). I have never had any problems with them. Pay has always been on time, the QA and management are always quick to answer any questions I have and they leave you alone during the day. IM is only used for quick problems and I can count on 1 hand how many times they have IM'd me, other than my first 2 days to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. To each their own though, everyone will not be pleased with the same companies.

    It was my own griping that got to myself. Note: Post. Sometimes a person does not realize how much something bothers them until they put it in writing and there is the first step toward working toward a solution.
    I can say, however, Grinchy bully did teach me 1 thing: Poverty of material items, even food pale in comparison to poverty of the soul.

    if some of those who work at these companies could email me I would appreciate it.  Looking at possibly making a change soon and just wanting to ask some specific questions and chat about your experiences with them.  Thanks!


    If you read the posts in the archives you

    will run as fast as you can.  They are not are reputable company and I'm not even sure they are a transcription company at all, but a front just to rob you blind.  We call them TransScam. 


    There are multiple unresolved complaints with the BBB.

    I'm strictly looking for people with good experiences with DSG, not problems with them. I know there are some MTs who work there who are happy, a friend of mine knows someone who loves this company, so it can't be all bad. Those are the people I'm asking to hear from. Thanks anyway:)

    I said I was starting work around 12 and was late. No one contacted me about my not being signed in. I never sent an email and did not say I did. Maybe that is why you don’t work for them anymore, reading something into things not there.

    posts.  They offshore.  Communication horrible.

    Guess some are coming out from underneath that rock again. I asked others if they had to work for Christmas. Please get things right. I work the hours I want and AM NOT WORKING CHRISTMAS by choice. Hello... do you comprehend what you read???
    I read some posts a year or so back (sm)
    that it was a husband/wife operation - that the wife was super nice and very easy to work for - no comment positive or negative on the husband that I can recall - that they usually always got paid on time but there was that little bit about being paid when client paid - which is a little scary - I'm of the firm belief that a company - large or small - should have enough cash flow to pay their people - that is running a little too close to the edge for me - but if it is a good company and great platform, good docs - I might try them someday.

    I am in my golden years and that is what they should be. I could retire now if need be but I choose to work on because that is just me. I would NEVER work for a place that gets on my nerves like the ones who work for MQ. What is the purpose? The posts seem to be very unhappy with the lack of pay, the hard platforms, the cesspools- why would you stay at a place like that? I hired on a place about a couple of years ago - the platform was horrible- just how long did I stay after training? Oh, about a month and saw I was getting nowhere. I love my job, love the pay (for me) and have no problems. Hopefully the VR can get straightened out as it is sorta quirky just now.

    I have read lots of posts here and yours, without a doubt,
    seems to me to be one of the worst I have seen. You have just told another human being they have nothing of importance to offer to anyone. I saw this and I hope you feel better by posting because I think by far it is the worst as far as putting someone down. For the 1 this was intended for, I hope you take it with a grain of salt and do not stake your life on a statement like this. I would, as my mother used to say, consider the source.
