Yes, they are willing to train - especially if you're a hot chick. They especially like to bring the hot chicks to court as paralegals or whatever to show off to their lawyer buddies in court. I've seen that in a few places I've worked.

Then, at the last big firm I worked for, most of the young attorneys do their own typing now, and the secretary is relegated to editing and time entry and other administrative junk.
