My take on it

One poster states, Any wonder why so many 20-somethings and early 30-somethings are going back home to sponge off mom and dad? Any wonder why so many of those same people are dumping their kids off on mom and dad to raise?

It has nothing to do with the child labor law. It has to do with parents refusing to see their grown children as adults, and have to keep them under their control by allowing and even encouraging their adult children to live with them long after it's appropriate (no excuse for anyone over 25 to lives with his/her parents) because the parents have no life and can't see themselves as anything but someone's parents.

They then end up raising their children's children, again, because they have nothing going on in their own lives and this perpetuates the control they feel some need to have over their long-grown children.

No life = middle aged and old aged doormats for adult children.

You make an opportunistic, cheap, ungrateful bottom-feeder, don't complain about it - deep down you WANTED this, and you know it.
