My very (ahem) favorite ...

... is when a doctor AGONIZES over pronouncing another physician's name and then doesn't bother to spell it.

The patient was referred by Dr. Azachmana ... uh .. Azamachma ... Az, no, Azachmanamima ... one more time ... Dr. Azominimahcmani ... or whatever, and he complains of chest pain.

Oh yeah, it's my favorite.
Been transcribing 29 years - used Word and other programs but I'm the most productive in WP. I know, it's ancient (as am I)!!
TT is my favorite national so far

It is my personal favorite by far! nm

I noticed that too. His favorite topic definitely is himself.
and another interesting thing is that if he were posting the exact same how great I am stuff under a woman's name everyone would either ignore him or tear him to pieces. It's amazing how differently male posters get treated than female ones, especially on a message board that obviously has so many lonely female members.

I've tried posting using a male name before, not to this board, but on another, and everyone was just so friendly, affable, supportive.

Try it sometime. You'll be surprised how differently you get treated on message boards if you're a guy.
Dictaphone ExText is my favorite too. nm

Gourdpainter is one of my favorite posters!

Yeah, and my favorite is the snippy QA person who sm
graciously gives you the wrong information when she corrects you in no uncertain terms. LOL. 'Must be a power trip for those who think they know everything. Others have been great to work with and make you feel that we are all on the same team to get the job done right.
True.. my favorite is no longer in business
but was my very first job out of school.  I didn't realize how good I had it until I left to work for M/Q and then it was too late.  I couldn't go back.  The owner eventually lost her two largest accounts and had to close shop after 15 years.
Oops! I meant favorite "specialty"
I think I need to hit the hay. Looking at this board is putting me to sleep!!!!!
Occupational health is my absolute favorite to do. sm
It is interesting but easy to get a line count because they do a lot of the same things. You get TB screenings and cuts and bruises, but you get some very, very interesting ones too. You would be surprised to see what lengths people will go to in order to get out of work!

As for platform, I have heard that one account is Allscripts (easy to use) and one is TA+, also easy to use. They are very similar to each other in many ways, both web accounts, etc. Good luck and welcome aboard!
Disorganized. If you aren't the favorite, then forget it. Never enough work
so you can work your schedule.  But if you don't get your line count, you are expected to do whatever it takes to make it.  Keep looking -- there are better companies out there. not to mention you'll get talked about behind your back
What is your favorite company you've worked for in the past??
I'm just curious if anyone has a favorite company that they've worked for and why are they your favorite?
my favorite platform is dictaphone extext. interested in hearing what yours is.
