don't read or retain information well. You may be older and more experienced but it seems to me you have the attitude that you should work when you want, take off when you want without notice. What is it about this job next to any other job that gives people the right to think they can do this? You didn't even address the post. Oh I forgot, you addressed the part about the profession going down hill.

The business is not going down hill because of moms working at home. One of the reasons it is going downhill is because of the ATTITUDE of moms or anybody else working at home who think this is not a real job and just a work-at-home fly by night scheme. If you have been in MT since 1977 then you SHOULD already know this.

I can't help the doctors are cheap. They (like anybody else) look for the best rate out there. I DO NOT agree with them and lots of them are finding out they are getting ripped off. Those who have found out are making other arrangements.

I do not have a chip on my shoulder. But it sure sounds like you do since you cannot STICK TO THE SUBJECT at hand on a post! I am not venting my frustrations, I am telling the truth about the business. Sounds to me like you have a lot of frustration to vent and have found someone who doesn't agree with every little gripe you have and so you decide to take it out on me.

Amazing thing is, I am getting tons of e-mail from MTs with 30-40 years experience agreeing with me.

The MTSOs are greedy, I agree and that is why they use Indian workers. But we aren't talking about Indian workers, we are talking about folks who dont' want to do what this job requires. Requirements are to work your butt off which includes weekends, holidays and nights! If you take time off you ask in advance. How hard is that?

If you were a boss in an outside company and a mom called the day she was suppose to come in and said she could't come in because her kid had a soccer game, what would your reaction be???? Sick kids are one thing and I have great sympathy for that because I have two kids who are grown now and went through all that. But to have a person call at the last minute and say they can't work because the kid has a game or whatever that could have been planned for in advance, is a very poor work ethic!

I don't give a rats rear what you think about me. This is the truth and as I see it there is a pretty poor work ethic floating around out there. I am just surprised that someone with the experience you say you have can get so upset about it. I think you are looking for a fight since you never stick to the post subject and just go off on your own little rant.

You are 4 years older than me, WHOOPDIDOO!
