I had to get a filler job and now I spend most of my time on my side-job. I feel a lot more secure now that I have the filler. Good luck to you.

Not only is there no work in my primary, there is no work in my secondary and tertiary as well. How are we supposed to earn a living this way?

I agree with you completely. I think that the way MDI started out is a thing of the past. Like you, I will not beg. Every MDIer should ask him/herself this question: AM I MAKING ENOUGH MONEY? AM I MAKING WHAT I MADE LAST YEAR AT THIS TIME? WHY NOT? WHAT MAKES ME THINK THINGS WILL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER? It appears that it is not only MQ that is mucked up....Just sayin'.
NorCalMT, regarding MDI's working going to VR

According to the recent press releases relating to the merger of Transcend and MDI, this comes from their Chief Financial Officer:

We expect the integration with Transcend, including the conversion of some of MDI's business to Transcend's speech recognition-enabled BeyondTXT platform, to increase MDI's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) margin as a percentage of revenue from the mid-teens today to 20% or more a year from now.

From what I can glean from this, if they expect to have an increase MDIs earnings 5% or more a year from now, that would mean that these accounts would have to be fully operational on BeyondTXT much sooner than a year from now.  There isn't much profit to be made on a platform that will be rolled out in a year from now...it has to be up and working for a while before profit is realized.  How long does this normally take?  A few months, 6 months?  Remember in the conference call when Larry tried to assure us that the transition would be smooth and seamless?  He mentioned that MDI customers are meeting with Transcend now regarding implementation of 'new technology.'  My guess is that we'll start training on BeyondTXT by January 1st or sooner.
