Not if they keep treating MTs like this, or self-respecting MTs.

They knock out the legs which hold them up like that over and over again, and soon they will find they will be all alone, and so will some of these heartless posters,if they aren't already!

from the way they are treating you, you should believe now
It just proves it.  Open your eyes blind one.
yea whatever happened to treating
collegues like professionals is what I thought when I read the post I was replying honey to. All I asked was a simple question about pay per line cuz I am in the dark when it comes to that cuz I get paid per hour but all of that is fixing to change.
What a frantic situation! She is treating you like
a marionette.  This sounds like it isn't going to get any better and every day will be the same jerking around as the previous one was.  I'd be a wreck with the phone calls.
What is treating your employees as "more than just a number?"
eTransPlus has an add on MT Daily and has that statement in bold letters.  Unless something has changed, even while I type this, or unless they have some employees they relate it to, then that statement is absolutely not true.... unless maybe, not returning employees e-mail messages when they are concerned about their job stability, i.e. running out of work weeks on end, or maybe conference calls where the "remote transcriptionists are on mute" and cannot express themselves, or only time you hear from anyone is when there is a backlog.   I e-mailed my account manager for two consecutive days with concerns of not enough work on both accounts, he has yet to reply.   But then, the work got out of turn-around time and there was a heavy backlog, and guess what--- the very same manager  sent out an e-mail--- lets get that backlog down."    We were out of work 3-4 weeks ago, now they have a post saying they are hiring.  Whats up.  Big turnover or what.
All it takes is treating people decently and with respect.

If offshore owned, they want to play by their rules, treating MTs like slave labor, much like
