I think Transcend pays hourly for training for
But, I think the training is Monday through Thursday and I think you do 10 reports a day.  This is how it was last year, but I'm not sure about now.
They have created a new position that pays hourly. Anyone know what the hourly rate range is? NM

Does anyone know who pays QA hourly? sm
I need a QA job that will pay me hourly, so if you have any leads, send them my way. :)
Please..do they give you hourly during training?sm
I don't want to get dumped into production pay before I know how to use the platform. I left a co. that paid me 13.50/hr for 30 days before production pay kicked in. Then I got a co. that promised 12.50/hr during training but the training consisted of 2 hours on the phone...then WHOOOAA production already.
First two weeks are hourly training pay (sm)

...so I wouldn't sweat it.  The minimum required is 150 lph, but they understand that you're new.  Once you're used to the system, build up some normals, and maybe take a productivity class or two, you'll be fine.

Paid hourly training SM

Anyone can tell me what companies pay at least minimum hourly wage during training?   I don 't mind line rate pay during this time, but I heard many of them will only let you do several reports a day during training and pay by the line, all along the work you do learning their software and platform, phone calls, conference calls, etc. is per g-r-a-t-i-s.  Anyone?

OSi in GA pays hourly and no feedback
//////
MW no longer pays for training.
Per leads.
Transcend pays hourly or at least they did a year

MQ pays hourly. Their starting rate
was the highest of all the top nationals who are still paying hourly, plus they provide all your equipment, pay for your internet and the benefits are great.
TransTech pays flat fee for training (NM)
*
Diskriter pays hourly wage for downtime

Medquist no longer pays hourly rate for QA - that

It is MME.  You do QA for 3 cents a line.  Then when that runs out, which it does, you do Editing at 5 cents a line.  And you also get straight transcription which is 8 cents a line.

Was in the pilot program and got more Editing and straight Transcription than QA.

No more QA department for MQ.

between 8.5 and 10 plus shift differential and a high hourly for training and for holidays. nm

Spheris pays for training. It used to be pretty good. Don't know what

When MDI-FL pays vacation time, is it hourly rate or an average

Webmedx pays a flat training rate for 3 days. nm

Mine pays both ways, hourly plus line incentive over certain amount.

OptiScript
i interviewed with them yesterday, IMO very low pay and very high cost for the benefit package
There are 2 OSI's one in GA the other Optiscript
.
Is this Optiscript (OSi) or the other OSI? nm

OptiScript

Hi, does anyone here work for OptiScript out of Pennsylvania?  I had an interview with them, seem really nice.  Good pay, supply computer setup, and offer benefits.  I was wanting to hear from people who work there currently or have recently worked there.  Thanks for any info!

As far as I know, Optscript has always been Optiscript....
the business school I went to was in State College and Optiscript was located close to it at that time. That was 10 years ago so if there was a name change it was before then
OSI in Georgia or OptiScript (there are 2)

A combo hourly/incentive or straight hourly rate based on
A platform where MTs have had major input in developing it.

10 annual days of PTO, at average hourly rate.

Affordable, decent health insurance.

QA done by very experienced high-level MTs, with open and respectful communication between QA and the MTs.
Correction: This wasn't Proscript - Optiscript - sm
Proscript does pay the same as above but has nice perks that help to make up for the low base line rate.
Thats what I got at OptiScript but with that platform, i needed 90 cpl to break even.
it was terrible!
Their training schedule kind of got backed up and so far the only training..(sm)
I've had is one short Bayscribe session. But I extended my 2 week notice at Medquist and I have until July 17 now to get some training in at MDI and do some reports to get familiar with the platforms. I'm looking forward to it!
I can't say enough about their training team. Excellent training!
The people at Medware are all just great. I wish I would have joined the Medware family sooner! They are very flexible and caring!
do you mean company training or med transcription itself training?
nm
Hourly?? Where does one get an hourly editing job?
I'm at 5 for VR/8.5 for straight typing.  I know we aren't to mention names, but I'm curious how hourly VR jobs are located.
what training? no training for me, first day they Tried to give me 2 ESL....
nm
they did not come up first. An hour of training is not really training.
nm
not that...only hourly, no less than $14

What about QA? Looks like they pay hourly. nm
nm
I used to be hourly
Until Western Montana Clinic outsourced to TTS, then it went to line. I do think editing should be above 4 cpl though.
yes, hourly.......
I really had to look for it, and it is at home, to boot.
Yes! But not hourly...
Production pays VERY well when straight through the hospital. No muss, no fuss, if you know what I mean.
Hourly?
Yes I agree QA should be hourly pay. I am still wondering if QA is a step up as far as pay is concerned. I assume it would pay more on average, as you need to be proficient in all specialities/work types as well as having extensive experience with ESLs, difficult dictators, etc.
Do they pay hourly for QA?
Is this the company that requires you to pay for something before you can start? If so, what is it that you have to pay for and how much is it?

Hourly QA
Medquist and Sten-Tel do.
Hourly pay
So, if you work a 4-hour shift, do you get paid $15.00 an hour regardless of the amount of work available?  If not, then how do they determine how many hours you worked?
Do they pay QA hourly there?

Hourly...
I, too, make $25-$30 an hour. I have a treo of neurologists and do law enforcement & parole board hearings... I think the key is getting away from the MTSO's and getting private practice accounts...
Not hourly
They pay 0.05 a line - no hourly wage - if you ask Matt in HR, he will tell you that what you read online about the free books, the free foot pedal, sign on bonus and hourly wage - it was all a typo.
VR pay- HOURLY
HOURLY. At a hospital that gives a rip about dedicated, quality oriented MTs, with numerous documented templates and has the best Dictaphone has developed.
Hourly Pay
It is all true, I used to work for them.  Weekly check, hourly pay, not a problem and always on time.
Its an hourly job
that is posted, not a cpl job. Apparenlty, Premiere Office Solutions has mostly hourly positions.
They did go through it on your first day of training.
Check your email attachments again. Call the HR person or the trainer on her toll-free number, and they will explain it to you again. Posting and venting here won't do anything for you.
training
Training was good. It is what happens after the training that is not so good. Why do they not read what people post on their own portal. If they would just do that they would see what they need to change.
