Please just bear with us a while. Lots of new hires (sm)
who have lots of questions and this will calm down soon.
Kind of happens anytime a company starts a new account or hires on a lot for whatever reason.
Oracle (OTI) Transcription
Does anyone work for this company and if so, how's it going with their new platform? I am wanting to get on with them, but said they don't have an excess amount of work at this time. What more can you tell me? Thanks
Has anybody that applied at OTI for the radiology transcription positions heard back from them yet?
Has anybody worked for Oracle Transcription? How was your experience? Good or bad feedback welcome.
Does anyone have any recent info on this company? I've already looked in the archives. Thanks! :)
I don't think we work at the same place, but I have been working lots and lots of hours.
Very thankful to have a decent job.
Oracle Transcription (oracleti)?
Does anyone know anything about this company? Their website is pretty good, answered most of my questions and has a rather easy on-line application. However, I would like to know if anyone has any experience with them. Thank you in advance for the help.
Any info on Oracle Transcription, Inc.
They have a Radiology position listed and would like to know from anyone who works for them how it is. TIA
Oracle Transcription (OTI) regarding lines in Bayscribe
Hi, I was curious if you had to turn in your line count in addition to what Bayscribe already shows for you. I think that is redundant to turn in your lines when Bayscribe already counts the lines and they go by that anyway. I currently work on Bayscribe with two other companies and they do not require me to turn in a line count separately by email, which the recruiter says that is the practice at Oracle.
My question is if you don't turn in your line count by email, do you still get paid with Oracle with what they calcuate on Bayscribe? I was thinking about getting a job at Oracle with their new account coming on board and was just curious about the line counting system and payday.
Oracle Transcription, Inc., 4007-B Norbeck Rd., Rockville,
stamp--- isn't worth it. The Suits weren't either.
I need info on Oracle Transcription. I did an archive search and found nothing. Thanks in advance.nm
I think New England Medical Transcription in Maine hires newbies. nm
Lots and lots of work. You will love
Call them. I have lots of work, had lots of work
during the holidays too. I don't know who routes the work, but one of the office people is on vacation this week. I occasionally have to call to get work depending on what hours I'm working, but I have never not gotten work when I've asked for it.
anyone ever work for oracle?
Oracle = no work sm
There is no work right now. Seems like they overhired recently. This is the worst it has been since the 7 years I have worked there.
Anyone out there work for Oracle?
Oracle is awesome when they have work
I think they only take ICs. If you are fortunate enough to be hired by them, you will NOT regret it - UNLESS you need a lot of work consistently. They never bother you. You can work or NOT. FOR REAL. They just don't bug. They are starting to use a really great new platform. Their old one is pretty antiquated and, frankly, downright time-consuming. Their new platform is definitely PROGRESS. They are great for the MT who truly does not need full-time lines 52 weeks of the year. Great for those who only need or want 500 or so lines a day, maybe because they are only helping out or making a little extra money. They are EXTREMELY FLEXIBLE and LAID BACK. However, if you need 1500+ lines a day consistently, you would be better off finding full-time, employee status. I think they might overhire now and then, resulting in a lack of work. NONETHELESS, I say God Bless Them, Every One.
Can anyone tell me which companies other than the big one hires MTs for DQS and how are they to work
for. Any opinions. Nice to work for with decent work or not so much.
Oracle is a pretty good company to work for but,
their home-grown software makes it difficult to get a good line count.
Lots of promises, no follow through. Lots and lots of internal sm
problems. She is recruiting heavy right now as she has a CHANCE at getting a big account back. Even if they get it back, they'll blow it again from poor management.
not sure who hires newbies...don't work for etranz, though (see thread below)
TransHealth does not send work offshore. Hires only US MTs. nm
old hires get double pay; new hires now get 4 cents more;
Does anyone know if Futurenet hires part time weekend work? (nm)
Anyone know of a place that hires for over-flow work (besides people in India!!)
Just a few hours a week?
Have to agree. Scratching for work at times. Don't want to share with any more new hires if I d
Sorry if that sounds selfish, but I don't think new hires want to come on board and find the pickings are slim right now either.
Not sure if you need bennies or not, but QT hires IC and has plenty of work and pays gross line! sm
You can apply at www.qtmedical.com It's a great place to work. Pay is always on time, always correct, recognized for holidays. They pretty much leave you alone and let you work. Very, very rarely run out of work. Depending on experience, pay usually starts around 7 to 8 cpl (gross lines) :)
Lots of work here too. I cannot figure out which accounts have no work.
I'm on the Escription platform
Great place to work. LOTs of work and (sm)
as the other poster noted, somewhat flexible. Make your lines and they pretty much leave you be. Communication is great, QA is great. The platform is extremely easy. There's plenty of work to go around and then some.
Escription has been out of work. Dictaphone has lots of work.
lots of work
I got bored and tired of MQ not ever having any work, and I have found 2 part time positions that allow me to work whenever I want so long as I can get the required lines within a certain time frame. So far, I have worked for one platform for one month and the other for 1 day and already I am averaging more lph than with MQ. Think DocQScribe stinks maybe? Then add to that the time it takes for that stupid Etime logging baloney. I can't believe it took me this long, but it seems pretty plain to me.
I have lots of work on my
If you don't already have a secondary...ask for one.
Probably everything you said. I have lots of work.
Lots of companies overhire probably because they need the work done and there are always a few MTs who have issues and don't work regularly or don't do their committed lines, so they hire more to make up for it. It is possible they may be offshoring too. You can ask about the company here and if they are offshoring someone may know. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do about either situation.
lots of work?
So which company is it you work for that gives you lots of work?
Lots of work.
Software productive and becoming more so as enhancements are made to the program.
They do have lots of work. That is plus.
yes, there is usually lots of work
once in a while, it does run out but not for very long and it really doesn't happen that often.
Lots of work here
I get e mails once or twice a week from my account work flow coordinator (that are sent out to everyone) saying that the volume has picked up and anyone who wants more lines and more $$ is welcome to sign on.
Amphion has lots of work
I would very much like to talk with you and offer my assistance regarding your concerns of overhiring and lack of work. Something must be amiss and I would like to solve your dilemma yet today. We have lots of work, are still recruiting cream of the crop MTs, and pride ourselves on treating our team members fairly.

Is there always lots of work at Precyse? Do they do
I work for First Choice and have lots of ops.
I am not sure if they are hiring, but you can always check.
Lots of work on my account... but I saw the
intrascript e-mail too. I am sure if you do not have enough work you can go on it. Contact the office.
Lots of reasons. Lie about pay, no work,
no questions answered.
Lots of work - I have NEVER had this issue
Seem to be running out of work lots more...
hopefully just a coincidence???
They do pay on time & have lots of work sm
but I found it difficult to make any money there. They use a Word counter, which is definitely short. Some TATs they have are unreasonable. Because of the way work comes in, your work day could be stretched from 6 in the morning to 9 at night. I like to work with a set schedule, so it was not a good fit for me. They may have different platforms now.
I see lots of mistakes too and I work there
We can look up old reports and I am astounded by some of the mistakes made. Makes me wonder how they even got out of 100% QA. One report for a dictator I knew to be on ASR looked like they didn't even edit it -- it was just a string of words that made no sense.
Have no idea what's going on there, except there is the usual big push for production. Don't know which accounts the Indians are on, but they do have Indian coordinators working the overnight shift; they have given them phony American names, but it is easy to tell they are not from here. I'm getting aggravated with the place but don't want to be a job hopper.
lots of work, on all 3 of my accounts, always will.
Lots of ESLs and not much work. nm
There is lots of work at Transcend!
I've been with Transcend for over 2 years now and have NEVER run out of work. There have been times when work was a little slow, but if you can be a flexible during these instances (usually around the holidays, like all companies in my experience) you will always stay busy. You just have to communicate with your managers and they will bend over backwards to make sure you are working.
Good luck with your training, Passing Through! Please come back and share your success story! There are many of us Happy Transcenders. We just don't get a chance to chat on the forums often because we are busily typing away!
