I applied for an MT position. I can't even remember now whether I did some audio transcription test before their offer. I am being offered now a QA position, and basing on the contract they sent, it seems I will mostly work on VR editing. I have more questions to ask, but am not comfortable posting them here. Who in the world would give you any info other than an email address?
With most of the flaky ads, no one knows who they are applying to, or what will be done with their info. Their is no way I would give you my address or phone number, unless I know you are a real company, with a website and and and address and a phone number of your own. Most ads do not even include this, and there is no way I am giving you my private info, other than an anonymous email address.

Also, what platform do they use? I have worked at some like you were saying, took forever to get the line count and I want to work 8 hours and be done. We got the list from AHDI. If someone does not wish to be on our email list, there is a link to click on at the bottom of those for opting out. We immediately remove those that click the link.
We also have a few mailling going out. Same thing - if you opt out of the email program, we will remove you from all contact.
We need transcriptionists for many new accounts and have ads on here and other sites, as well as several magazines. We are going to need over 100 MTs in the next 3 months due to new accounts and more work on existing accounts!

Has anything changed in 9 months? Particular worries are the invoice/pay time; one post mentioned 2 to 3 week wait and another post stated 1 week. Info from the company states pay is sent out 10 days after the last day of the billing period, but we all know what is said and what is done isn't always the same. Another concern is the platform; some mentioned it was slow and cumbersome. They have 2 platforms from what I can gather.. Are they both slow? It seemed like certain specialties were done on certain platforms, or at least that is what I got out of the archives. I really hate to jump from the frying pan to the fire so any info would be VERY much appreciated.. the good, bad, and the ugly! TIA!!

Along with the platform, ESL %, pay range, lpd required, split shift or 12-24 hour window available, I would be interested in knowing your personal experience with this company, what type of relationship you have with supervisors and other coworkers, etc. Otherwise, the all the 411.

Current info on Diskriter?? Past info was very mixed. Either MTs hated it or liked it, does anyone
love working there and why? Do you easily meet your incentive pay or as past people have said, the ESL are so bad that you never meet the line count. I need current and new information. Isnt there a company out there that has a handful of happy employees or does all of them have both the haters and lovers. It is so hard to sort out fact from fiction sometimes and all of us have different expectations. It kind of goes along with the one man's junk is another man's treasures theory, I suppose.

Mine always come to me from corporate, listed as QNews...it was the reason the email system was crashing in the beginning because they were so big.
Not sure why some are getting them while others are not? I'd call corporate or maybe send an inquiry from the MQ website?
