Also, does anyone have any current information regarding schedule, line rate, incentives, platform, etc.? Archive information is old or incomplete. How does IC rate versus employee? All replies are tremendously appreciated. Thanks!

How long does it take TransHealth to get back to someone when you send a resume? I sent a resume
x
Don't know anything, but recently sent them a resume
I have not heard back yet.  Do you know anything?
I recently applied to them. The day after I sent my resume in

I got an e-mail that they would call, never did.   I then went ahead and tested through their website and notified them that I had tested.  They e-mailed me that they would have QA pull the file immediately.  It took 2 days for them to get back with me via e-mail, never did get a phone call.

They've had ads running continuously the last few months and I'm sure they are swamped, but  you should hear something within a few days.  If you have tested and it has been more than 3 or 4 days it wouldn't hurt to touch base.

I don't want to send them a resume either
At one time, some companies put out ads by recruiter and anonymous names just to see who would apply.  Those who applied and were working for this big company were immediately fired just for applying.  Watch your back!
Did not send resume, but.....sm
I did write a very polite email stating that I was not comfortable revealing my personal information to an unknown company. I included my basic credentials and asked if they wanted my resume to please email me regarding their company information.  I doubt if they'll bother, but I've made it a policy to never submit my confidential information to any company who is not willing to reveal their name.
Did they ask you to send them your resume?
I took the test today with a 96%, and immediately was asked to e-mail my resume.
Send the resume!
They are an honest company and have proven that time and time again. When something comes up that is a concern, they always fix it. They will not jerk you around and they certainly do not play games. They have recently grown quite rapidly and honestly I don't think they realized this was a great concern until now. They are focused on keeping both the client and the MTs happy, rare in this business. There are one or two MTs here that are out to destroy their reputation as a great company and I suppose these few will come back at my posting in their typical childish manner, but disregard them. Send the resume, you won't regret it.
I don't know, but you can send them a resume anyway and see what happens
x
I would just send in a resume and ask...
I started out part time as well and then went full time, but I believe they want everyone who works for them to go full time eventually...
I did send you my resume. I could not help but
send it to you for your info so we can at least stay in touch. You would recognize it I sent it to you through your job posting here and I am the MT with over 26 years' experience. Please do let me know if you did not receive it!
send resume to gimtnet.com..... nm
xx
OK to send resume a second time

If you have not received a call back or e-mail to a resume you sent, is it ok to send another?  Anyone ever done this and landed the job?

Thanks!!!

All of the ads say to send your resume to them. Look at an old ad rather than the website. nm
nm
I think I'll send in my resume
and see where it goes. Do you mind my asking if this is a true IC position or do you have to work set hours. Please feel free to email me.
I'm wondering too. Don't want to send my resume just for the fact that sm
they may be paying really low,  I have lots of experience and don't want to be insulted, which has been the case recently.
Do they have a website or a place to send a resume to?
Sounds like a great place to work!
so you know how to send a resume or apply? i dont see a prompt for it
/
I would send in your resume or call the office. Some accounts do not
use phone lines at all and are internet only. My account is an 800# but I am not sure if there are any openings on my account.
Has anyone tried to send a resume to the post from Medical Transcription Services - sm

My attempts have all bounced back to my email address saying

The message that you sent was undeliverable to the following:

 Jobs (UNUSED)
I went on to their website and the email it says to send resumes
to is jobs@transcriptionoutsourcing.com, which is the one I used.
Just wanted to see if anyone else got this problem...

I have only recently heard of them
A couple of friends started working there and it sounds like a good place. They are on escription platform on an account in Oregon at the moment. They are allowed to cherry pick the reports they want to do. Pay is reasonable for escription.

If my current job does not pan out, I am leaning heavily to checking out employement at Proveros.
I've recently heard about

I've recently heard about companies which, when you hire, insert a hidden contract clause preventing an MT from hiring with other companies.

Is this a common practice?

From what I have read/heard recently you have
to pay all expenses up front and then submit receipts for reimbursement.  I wouldn't do that.  They should advance you xx amount of money and then you submit receipts.
Never heard of it, but submitted a resume.

I heard back from them the day I sent my resume in. sm
I have not received my paperwork yet, but will be starting to work for them on a part-time basis.  The work is all cardio -- mostly clinic notes, correspondence, echos, etc.  They seem to be a good company, but I guess they all do when they are hiring you.  We'll see .........
I sent a resume to them but never heard back.
nm
Yes, I did email my resume at that point, but I never heard from them. -
Now the ad says to fax your resume only. I wouldn't do it for 9 to 13 cpl anyway. Would you?
4 days since submitting resume - have heard nothing
nm
Has anyone heard from this company that submitted a resume?
nm
Has anyone who sent a resume to TypeToo in response to their ad for a psych MT heard back from them

Ditto! Also add that they ignore e-mails you send and send endless IMs!
nm
Has anyone gotten a job from any company not posting regularly from their resume in the resume
s
I've heard only positive things about them. So, I applied, but haven't heard a word. Maybe fl
nm
I've only heard of Intellitype. Never heard of Teletype.

Has been down a lot recently, but..
only for very short periods at a time, not sure if they're doing upgrades or what.  Could also be weather-related with the terrible tornadoes this week in parts of the country.  You just have to be patient and adjust your schedule slightly when it happens. I love the BeyondTxt platform, it's the easiest I've worked on.  IMO, MDI-FL is a very good company, and I can't say that about many out there these days, so was worth it for me.
recently went to an HSA
and went IC.
Actually some of us are ICs. Recently ...
MDI was only hiring ICs with SE status after so many days or months. So there are some ICs that were with MDI.

In my meeting CB said that Transcend had IC, SE and employee and the usual case by case. I think she wrongfully mislead the person who asked this question because that was the first I had heard of their being SE status at Transcend.
No but I sent them a resume - sm
They never responded to it.  I have a ton of experience, too.  Doesn't bode well for them to me.
sent resume
I sent a resume to MDtalknet and am waiting for a response, I even live in the same town, not that that really makes a difference.
Sent my resume in...sm

2 weeks ago and have not received an e-mail regarding testing.  I have 25+ years of experience, mainly acute care, 6 in radiology.  Wonder if they wanted more radiology experience.

Are you sure they got your resume? I know that they are
hiring for ortho right now. I have been there 3 years and the account I am on is expanding and I know of at least two new accounts.

If you did not hear, I would either call or re-email.
Resume
Ok, thanks, I see it now.  Thank you!
Yes, I sent a resume - sm
I think I asked for more money than they pay because they thanked me for the resume and said maybe sometime in the future they would keep me in mind.  In other words, never.
Resume
Go Gal!  You reflect the sentiments of those of us who would not dare, but love to include your comments on our resume's.  Don't we all just love doing the header research for free!  Sigh, Is there light at the end of the tunnel?  God Love Ya!
I sent a resume
I sent a resume thru MTStars about 1-1/2 weeks ago, have 25 years experience doing all reports and have not heard a word from them.
Put your resume up
Put your resume up and say you are looking for minimal part time work. Good luck!
resume
I just leave it as is pasted in. susan
Thanks, I sent the resume but have not sm
heard anything yet. Keeping my fingers crossed!
I'd get my resume in
to the small hospital quickly before somebody else does. I wouldn't say anything to your current hospital and if you have to give them a decision, say you will take the radiology job. Could be weeks or months before that other hospital has an opening.

If the outsourcing goes badly, radiology won't change over for a long time (hope, hope).

Radiology is all about anatomy and contrast. The bet book IMO is HPI's Radiology Imaging Words and Phrases, but you'll also use a lot of your Stedman's books like ortho, neuro, GI, Ob-Gyn, cardio, and even lab books.
I sent in a resume,

Ok, I sent in my resume
And already heard back from a recruiter! I am excited now! So, they only hire for ICs I'm taking it. That means I am responsible for paying my own taxes, correct?
resume
Just a couple of questions about your resume. Do you put on it how much you are getting paid at your current job or at your past jobs? Do you put the current volume of work you are doing at your primary job? I have had some experience with hiring for a small company in the past and if I see someone put what rates they were getting paid at other companies I generally would discard the resume because it feels like a challenge to match or exceed those rates. If I saw that someone was a high producer but looking for a second job I would doubt that they would have much time for the second job and discard the resume.

Other flags to me were changing jobs often, big gaps in employment, or lack of specific experience for the specific position.

If none of those apply to you, I'd just agree with the other posters that business is just generally slow right now and it's not personal.
