Do you have the account specifics or client profile to work off of that you can use to reinforce why you used a numbered format, etc.? Is there anything in writing you can use to back up things like this and why you chose to do them a certain way?

I'm pretty stubborn and it would likely turn into a contest of wills. I'd force them to communicate with me via email regarding the numbering issues, format judgment calls, etc. I would make it a point to get it in writing via email, and then the next time I was docked for it, I'd forward them their previous email with a copy to the supervisor and innocently inquire if the client profile had been changed since the date of the email.

If you're enjoying the job and can deal with the games and are getting paid on time, I'd stick it out...If for no other reason, just to prove my point.

Keep us posted on this one. It sounds like it's going to be quite a bumpy ride!
