This is what I wanted to express in the article that I wrote to the Toledo Blade. We have to do something! We (Americans) cannot be silent and putting up with this crap is being silent. Tolerating this and turning the other cheek is keeping silent. We must make our voices heard! You are absolutely right, patients should be given this information up front and then allow them to make an educated decision, do I want my vital information that includes medical diagnoses and my social security number and birth date and personal information being sent to India? NO!
