Scream at at me if you want...

....but it is my opinion that production pay is what has brought medical transcription down to the level it occupies now. I also agree with several of the other opinions expressed herein, but the pressure and stress of working by production has devalued MTs. Fortunately, I started so long ago and have proven myself over and over to many employers...enough so that I have never had to work on production. I do not see how you all run this rat race day in and day out. You're right...you do get used up and treated horribly. My best wishes to you all.

Ready to scream!!
I need to vent!!  There is a certain co-worker who lurks, hovers, and then pounces whenever she sees good jobs coming up.  She waits until I am tied up with another job and then swoops in like a sniper and grabs them.  She does this over and over!  It is becoming so disgusting.
I am so frustrated with the Webmedx system that I could scream! sm

I've been here about 3 weeks now, and when I'm typing, I'm fine.  However, going screen to screen is so slow and even seems stuck sometimes.  My mouse going over the screen, especially near the top right, makes the report just, POOF, go away.  Sometimes it can be recovered, usually in fact, but I have to log back in to the system in order to do so.  My SH doesn't even want to work correctly - caps in places it shouldn't.  This is so frustrating!  And they pay on lines per hour - I will never make it.
