Most radiology accounts still use the old lanier or dictaphone dictation systems--and if anyone has ever spent any time working on either, they SHOULD know what is going on at all times--and that is not even having access to a console either; just using common sense and knowledge of the equipment you use should get you any information you need. With over 20 years of experience, I should know...I have been in operation management for years, but I knew how to read my accounts and no what was going on long before that...when you work by production, it is a must know thing.
