Yes, multiple times.
No response.
This has been discussed many times over the last

few weeks.  Do a search of this site and you will find many posts.  You can scroll down or go to the second page and probably even the third page at the bottom and find posts from people who work there.  I know I am very happy.  They are a very nice company with excellent benefits.

Does anybody have any info on the TTD, Inc on the job board multiple times?
Cannot seem to find any info on them.  TYIA!
This company has been discussed many times here.
Try doing a search and checking the archives as there is a lot of information there, but none of its sounds very good.
They have been discussed within the past week, scroll down and
see if you can see the post.  S/B lots more posts in archives.  Nothing good.
know it was discussed a lot in the past, maybe search achives?NM

This was extensively discussed this past week or so...sm
Best check the IRS guidelines before asserting such information.
Multiple posts the last 2 weeks, just look below. nm

This was just discussed in detail a few weeks ago

A search of the Main Board will show salaries discussed svl times over. Majority of us are paid

Times past it was the same as now -
If you are typing radiology, op notes or ERs - no, it would not be a good deal.  Discharge summaries, definitely!  You know when the doctors hem and haw and talk to the other doctors or take a phone call?  Or you have a dictaiton that's just dead air, no dictation?  You get paid for all that time that the doctor is not talking.  It doesn't depend on times past versus times now.  I was paid by the minute 20 yeras ago and it was the same then.  It's good money with discharge summaries, not good for op notes or ERs.
I've done that several times in the past. - sm
The alternative (insanity? suicide? homicide?) just isn't worth putting up with all that c_ _ p.
I've done this a couple of times in the past
I had specific questions regarding the platform and Expander program compatiblities, as well as how lines are counted among other issues. As the recruiter did not know the answer to these questions, I was given the name and number of the MT manager to speak with. At least one job I declined based on the manager's responses, not because I thought she did not handle the questions well, but found out enough to know the company was not what I was looking for.

On those occasions where I spoke directly to the MT manager, the companies were very impressed with my knowledge of both MT and word processing/computer issues and ended up wanting me to come to work to a greater degree than I feel they would have if I had not talked to the manager.

I don't think it would be inappropriate to ask. The worst that can happen is the recruiter says no and can't answer your detailed questions. In that case, that company is not a right fit for you.
Times past, was a good deal...now
Today we get the short crud/fast talkers/accents from who knows where... so 1:00 a minute is not good at all...BUT with all the changes in the way the software counts for us... if you would have a GREAT dictator (not) would be an OK deal...
I have been so depressed for the past 2 weeks, (sm)
no kidding I have been making between $250-300 less a week. Sometimes it is all I can do to drag myself to the computer to work in the morning. No motivation. How many times have I been through this before......
If anybody cares, here is my experience looking for a job for the past 3 weeks

One company writes and says they are hiring and will have a coordinator contact me to schedule testing.  I schedule the test.  She then writes that she will be out of the office and to reschedule with her when she gets back.  When she got back, I wrote her and never heard from her again about rescheduling.  That was a company that begins with the letter F + net.  Not impressed.

Now transcending that scenario, next company that begins with the letter T...I tested and was offered a position by recruiter only to then be told they did not have the speciality I was looking for after being assured they did before testing.  We both agreed to put everything on hold.  Later, she contacts me and points me to a job ad for another company offering the work type I was looking for (?) which was nice but odd but then goes on to say she is leaving herself at the end of the month.  Recruiters at companies helping you find better jobs at other companies?I'm not real impressed.

Now...the company that recruiter referred me to begins with an Arch and hardly any posts on them anywhere to be found.  They tested me and offered me a position to start ASAP on a new account...ASAP drags out 2 weeks and then am told contract negotiations fell through so no account.  I can do another account on a different platform if I want - hmmmm not what I was looking for.  Recap = offered a position on an account they didn't have.  Not impressed.

In the meantime, investigate going back to a company I used to work for that is unmentionable here - begins with a big M.  I used to work for them so I thought go back to my old account.  Three weeks, many e-mails and phone calls later I am hooked up with a recruiting firm they hired and they send me paperwork and schedule me for training.  I complete training last week and have heard nothing from production super as promised but I have received 3 phone calls today from recruiting firm asking me if I need to be scheduled for training (and 2 of those people have never heard of the third person who called me so I am left wondering who I gave my SS# to).  Tried corporate office - no luck - no way to contact anybody.  Recruiter who had me return my paperwork to her does not know if it was received because she doesn't handle that.  Hmmmm....TRULY not impressed.

Another inquiry with yet another company yielded a reply e-mail that stated there was a testing file attached.  Hmmm....no file attached.  Answered that e-mail and have heard nothing since.

What in the world is going on?  Are there truly any good companies left? They keep running ads and complaining about a lack of good MTs when the fault lies possibly, quite possibly, in their complete lack of professionalism that immediately sends up a red flag to prospective employees.  When they get their acts together maybe they will have MTs.

Sorry but I needed to rant!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE IT! Been here 2 weeks and am already up to my past production. The office staff are
wonderful, I love my account and am so glad I made this move.
Has anyone recently left Futurenet Tech due to their lack of work over the past several weeks? nm

I encountered slow to no work the weeks preceding Thanksgiving and several days after but the past
few days it has picked up. Can I ask which account/accounts your on? I think that makes a difference. Mine are part f the Escription platform. I honestly got really ticked a few weeks ago when we had no work and they were still hiring. For one, it's bad enough when we have to share some of our work with the Indians, but how fair it is to hire these poor people who think they are getting work where there is none.  It makes no sense to me either. Why not provide work to your current employees than drive them away by taking on too many new people.
Concerned about the low work at WebMedx over the past few weeks. Typical for this time of year?
I've not been through a summer with them before. My main account, which always had plenty of work and occasional overtime, has been low for well over a month now. I have 2 backup accounts that are low as well. In fact, all my STM's accounts are very low volume. In all the years I've transcribed, I've never had this problem in August. It worries me more perhaps since I'm ex-MQ and consistent low work was a signal of a major downhill turn for that company. Thanks.
A lot of times, if they need extra help, they will over 1-1/2 times our regular rate. sm
This is the equivalent of OT but you get it even if you have not done 40 hours already. I have also received AmerExp gift cards a few times for incentives offered. I think it depends on the account.

I do know for sure that they are working on an incentive program but I have no details and not even sure if they are still looking at it.

I do know for sure that I make more $$ with Keystrokes than I have ever made anywhere else.
Yes, they offer I think 4 weeks at full pay or 8 weeks at half pay. Call the office
and talk to them about it. You wont lose your job. They aren't like that.
Multiple Accounts
Unfortunately, I think it is becoming more and more common. The company I am at did not start out this way, but I have really seen this change in the last 6 months. They have promised ridiculous turn-around times in order to compete, I assume, with offshoring and to accomplish this it seems to me they are overhiring to cover their bases.
Multiple accounts
I have 4 accounts (all high ESL) and do not mind it at all. The way I look at it, the more flexible you are, the more work you have. :)
I have multiple platforms
I have Emdat, ExText, and Bayscribe on my computer.  No problems here.  I think it just depends on your computer's processing speed and RAM
Multiple jobs
Same thing going on with supervisors - working on salaries, answering minimal or no email, unavailable, IMs set to busy or out. Yeh right sure their busy, busy trying to job juggle, and making otherwise available jobs unavailable. Here's my answer - Supervisor has minimum of 80 people to supervise and QA. Bet that'll keepem plenty busy with one job.
Multiple Requests
There were several paragraphs in the agreement that I agree with--don't talk bad about them to anyone, don't try to steal their clients, yada yada yada--and I agree with all that.  I just don't think it's right to ask me to find a new profession for the next 12 months.  Apparently it's legal, but that doesn't make it right.
LD really isn't an isssue and they have multiple
platforms, not just Meditech, but from what I understand KS itself doesn't have a platform, but you work directly in the hospital systems.
multiple jobs

I am an independent contractor and currently work for five different practices.  I never feel overwhelmed as none of them are full time.  I also have 24 to 48 hour turnaround time because most are not urgent.  You just have to find docs who are flexible.

Good luck!

Cindi

Multiple platforms
There are a few platforms depending on the account. However, of the accounts I've worked on, they all tap into your version of Word, so whatever Expander works there will work with TRX.
There are multiple platforms
The platform depends on the account. Every account has a different platform.
one company or multiple?
I have one account that pays great and I am able to sustain high productivity.  I have a part-time position with another company that pays less and productivity is slower due to the large size of the account.  My dilemma is whether to keep all my eggs in one basket and just go for the easy money every month or struggle through the part-time hours with the other company just to keep diversified.  Anyone been in a similar situation?  Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks!
one company or multiple?

Are you asking if you should keep the PT job as backup?  If you are, I would say yes.  For years I've never had just one MT job, always a FT and at least 1 part time and this came in so handy with a recent unexpected department wide closure.  In this line of work, if you can't do without the pay, I would always have something going on the side just in case.  Unfortunately we just never know when a job is going to end or leave the country.  Good luck!~

Do you have just one main accounts or multiple. Thanks.
:
Softscript - multiple choice only, I believe.

Uh...your multiple posts in this thread SM

only show what a bitter person you are when you don't get your way.  Also, what is up with the SD I have seen in 2 posts now?  Is that your way of spelling said?

From multiple previous posts there is no
set line rate, several variables involved, but most say it is very hard to get lines and pay is low.
Multiple systems, several platforms, they
furnish software for all.
I would try a place where you can have multiple accounts.
Have clinic be your main but see if you can get an acute care as a backup to prove you can still do it. That was how I got into hospital work. I still try to do a mixture of both to keep it fresh in my mind.
Continued from above -- and yes I have multiple accounts...nm

multiple personalites of ex-boss?
There's no use being mean or arguing on this board about whether or not you can get unemployment. Call the unemployment office in your area and report back what you find out.

A friend recently received a letter from her MTSO stating your services are no longer needed. There was no discussion, no arguing. She was not eligible for unemployment in our state.
Right... I'm sure you would never pretend to be multiple posters.

Because unfortunately I think you ARE multiple personalities!  Really, Confucious say:  Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to post childish nonsense and remove all doubt!

The rest of the quote was that we have to do multiple...sm
specialties. It is entirely reasonable to think a multispecialty MT of 30 years would have a broader base of knowledge than a doctor fresh out of medical school.

An LPN and an RN cannot do surgery, either, yet for some reason you put them above a medical transcriptionist. As for a doctor, unless you are actually performing a surgery, your skill lies in your interpretation of signs, symptoms, lab tests, etc.

A medical Transcriptionist has to use this same thought process every day. How many times to look at the past medical history to figure out a medication or look at a lab value to differentiate a diagnosis?

I am afraid you sell MTs very short.
so does this mean OSI can still be discussed in
x
This has probably been discussed before....sm
But could someone tell me what is a low/high rate of pay when getting paid by the minute?  Never worked this way but it could be a more fair way to pay???  Not sure.  Comments appreciated.  TIA
this also has been discussed in the very
recent past with more than a handfull stating they do that range regularly.

That has already been discussed. nm

Already discussed below. nm

The only way this has been discussed --sm
to death is by a whole group of sourpusses jumping on her for even asking the question in the first place and telling her in no uncertain terms to do her own research, that she was not *entitled* to ask the question in the first place because she was wanting everybody else to do the work for her. There were a few *nice* responders who did give her some valid suggestions, but most of you all just tore her a *new one* for no reason whatsoever, other than you could, and that's it. Now THAT is rude! Her original question was not truly *discussed* at all, but ridiculed with rude responses, and nothing more. So don't try to make yourselves out as justified in your responses, because you are not. schoolyard bullies, all of you.
Because one person can have multiple negative posts
