I feel so sorry for those who are trying to survive.  No one knows what life has thrown at other people.  I am fortunate to have a spouse to help me but many don't know that my 1st husband dropped dead in the middle of the night without ever being sick a day in his life.  I am thankful that I was able to take care of myself although I was in a daze for about a year.  I can't help but think what would have happened to me if I had been trying to eek out a living for myself with no/low work, not even to mention cuts in pay.   My employer at the time...well, I can't even begin to tell how concerned and caring he was during that difficult time.  Soooo maybe I have so much sympathy for those less fortunate than myself because but for the Grace of God I might be walking in their shoes.
