Transolutions pays downtime when work runs out. nm
xx
Transolutions pays 100.00 for every sm
year that you are employed. Otherwise, they don't pay squat.
transolutions pays (nm)
.
For what it's worth, Transolutions pays 6 holidays
but only requires that you work a rotating schedule of 3 one year, the other 3 the next year. I generally offer to work any of them that I can if my daughter is with her dad since the money is so good.
Work is easy, very nice owner, pays weekly, work in Word.

Don't you work for Transolutions?
..
Anyone work as a QA for Transolutions? Just
wondering whether it is good or bad place before I apply.
Does anyone work for Transolutions? sm

I would just like any information about them regarding pay, benefits, etc.  TIA!!

I work for Transolutions
I've been here since January and haven't run out of work. They pay technical downtime (which just happened to me, so this is for sure). They offer a week of sick time, PTO, 3 personal days, six paid holidays per year but alternate 3 one year and 3 the next year, having to work only 4 hours on those days rather than 8. I'm very happy here on their Star Team. They're very appreciate of their employees, and the president of the company has a personal conference call with the MLSs every two months, which I think is wonderful. I hope you consider coming on. They have both DOS (if you only have dial-up) accounts and internet-based accounts (DSL, cable). I do both DOS and internet accounts. I have no complaints whatsoever. Please feel free to email me if you'd like.
Anybody ever work for Transolutions, Inc?
Could anybody tell me anything about this company and what it is like??????
I work for Transolutions, too
I also work for Transolutions ~ I have only been with this company for about 5 months, and I love them! I make on average 195 to 205 lph. I have one steady account that I rarely run out of work on. Some transcriptionists have a secondary account in case they do run out of work on their primary account, but so far I just have the one account. There are times there is mandatory OT, but scheduling is extremely understanding if something comes up prohibiting you from working the OT! :)
I work for Transolutions.
The health insurance is okay. I've never had a problem with it. It costs me roughly $65 every 2 weeks for just me (medical and dental). I'm still on my DOS account and hope to never leave it. Can't say much about Apex since I've never used it.
I work for Transolutions and..

have loved it for 4 years now.  Someone below referenced overhiring, but I have never heard that said about TS or experienced that; in fact, the accounts I work on are just slightly doing OT.  Of course, there are issues that some have with their platform (Apex), but it is getting better very quickly, as they are diligently working on making it better.  If you'd like to know anything else or have any specific questions please feel free to email me.

All that said, I have also seen very good things posted about Keystrokes on the forums here but also some bad.  I guess no company is spared completely on the forum LOL!

Who do you work for that pays
pays per minute?
Actually, we both know that we are going to work more for the one who pays more!
x
So where might you work? My co pays 6.5.
I'm not putting that down. I believe all MT work is equal. The companies do not seem to feel the same way.
Who pays the best for VR work?

Which companies pay the best for VR work?  What schedules do they require you to work?  Do they have benefits?  I have 2 children to support so I need to have a dependable work also.  Thanks in advance

How is Transolutions, Inc. out of Illinois to work for?
Would like to know about platforms, pay days how often, and any other pertinent info you all might have regarding this company, specifically for radiology work.  TIA
Any Transolutions MTs who work on Apex?
Are there any current Transolutions MTs who work on their Apex system and can tell me what it's like?  Is it a good platform?  Can you be productive on it?  You can email me privately if you'd like.  Thanks very much.
Plus, they are always having technical
issues!! My PC goes down at least once a week and their word expansion program is the worst!!
The company I work for pays
for radiology by the line .. .08-.09 depending on your assignment .. our radiology MTs do very well.  The radiology work is MRI, DEXA, PET, ULS, and special studies.  Experience in doing more than plain films is essential.  The work is Monday through Friday as these are all outpatient centers.
The company I work for only pays
or anything else. They say we will go more than twice as much and make big, big bucks.  Do you believe that?  I don't.  4 CPL!!! And I bet you can figure out which company on your own.
That is low pay for VR. The company I work for pays almost
twice that. I hate VR. I don't have to do it where I work.
I have never had a technical problem
with either the hardware or software thus far. I was out of work once for a few hours on my primary account, but was trained on one very similar to it until the primary was ready again. They have also apparently added two new accounts today. I am part-time (not management). However, I do acknowledge that not every place works for everyone, and no place is perfect. I had a one-month disaster at TRS last year after so many raved about them, 2004 AAMT employer of the year, etc. I'm happy with Amphion so far, but I fully support anyone's decision to leave a situation which isn't working for them.
Age has nothing to do with technical ability.
or lack of technical ability.
Why isn't there a Technical Forum here? Could use one - nm

Technical Question
Does anyone know if it is possible to run the Bayscribe platform for MDI-MD on the same computer as a platform used for a Keystrokes account (do not know the platform name yet)? Was thinking about trying them both but didn't know if this was possible. Also, if the tech from one company installs the platform and sees a platform for another company on the same computer, is that ever a problem? Any info appreciated.
Technical question

This job was posted in the Job Seeker's Board...I can't seem to be able to reply to message and no contact information was provided.  Anybody have suggestions. I apologize if this was not the place to post this question.  See below:

Posted By: NC acute care hospital employee position on 2008-10-21

We are looking for someone who is in the Charlotte, Concord, Lake Norman general vicinity (or relatively close) for a remote Transcriptionist position (after a reasonable training period). Dictaphone platform, great benefits, good line rates, hospital employee status, extremely generous PTO, very few ESL's, and wonderful work environment. Prefer candidates within commuting distance for training, etc. E-mail for details and information on applying. We need to fill this position as soon as possible.

Acute care work pays more

I believe the tax rate is the same for everyone in a certain class since you want to get technical a
You pay for your taxes at 100% if you are an IC but I dont think she was asking about taxes.

If you are single and have kids, then you usually pay no taxes or very little anyway unless you make over 30,000 a year.
I work IC for a company who pays by check in mail
Never had a bounced check either.  I can see why you would worry though.  Maybe they will do the switch eventually.
Still waiting for work, but I figured it out. WMX pays for holidays (sm)
but only IF you get your required lines/hours in.    Of course the work was low over the weekend, but we expected that, and now EVERYONE is making sure they qualify for the holiday pay.  Make sense?
Anybody else at Webmedx going nuts from technical hassles?

I know better than to post this on their internal message board, as anything that is not 100% happy gets deleted.

This is the 2nd week in a row of technical issues on the client's end vs issues on our end, with the MTs caught in the middle, having to twiddle their thumbs during their scheduled shift, then give up their scheduled days off and work like mad playing catchup.  I guess I just want to vent and commiserate.  Anybody else in my boat?

Technical issues with the platform were horrible
It was slow a few times, never completely out, but I could never make any lines because of the technical issues with the platform.
Not sure if you need bennies or not, but QT hires IC and has plenty of work and pays gross line! sm
You can apply at www.qtmedical.com It's a great place to work. Pay is always on time, always correct, recognized for holidays. They pretty much leave you alone and let you work. Very, very rarely run out of work. Depending on experience, pay usually starts around 7 to 8 cpl (gross lines) :)
I work for a company in Florida too who gladly pays state taxes because
they know it is the law.
This belongs on Technical board; thread locked.
Goldbird
lots of good technical things, but they outsource overseas
and a lot of their managers are from the old Edix, which is not a good thing, if you want to be treated with respect.

if you do not mind how you are treated, you can do okay. hard getting lines consistently.

my opinion. maybe things have changed, but I have read a lot of negative on here lately.
Dictaphone EX Text users. I have a question I need help with on Technical Board.. Thanks

support/technical dept is great. i use mine so i think that is just a personal choice and don't

Transolutions
I have been with Transolutions for over 2-1/2 years and cannot speak highly enough about them. They have stuck with me thru thick and thin due to personal health issues; I am averaging $18-$20 an hour; the medical insurance is the best I've ever had; they spend time and money helping MTs get proficient and productive and grow in their careers, etc. They are offering a referral bonus through September 21 for anyone I refer and is hired. If you are considering this company, please drop me a line, and I'll answer all your questions. I would appreciate the opportunity for the referral. Thanks! Donna The website is www.transolutions.net
Transolutions...

Well, my dear, MQ has thousands of MTs, some of whom have been there over 10 years - but it doesn't sound like they do anything right!!!!!!!

If that company is a good fit for you, more power to you.  But, just because someone else didn't like them doesn't mean it was a "personality conflict" or "Degree of professionalism" issue.

If you really want referrals, you might try being a little less condescending.

Transolutions
If anyone is working for this company, please email me and tell me what it is like to connect with them, etc.  thanks
Transolutions
Been there almost 2 years - very happy. I am former MQ'r, always astounded when MQ/Spheris types say they think there is no better place to work than those 2 crap companies. Transolutions has paid time off, (I'm part-time and accrue hours). They have paid holidays off -- you will be required to work holidays and alternate, i.e. you work July 4, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day one year, then the next you work New Year's Day, Labor Day, Christmas -- I may have mixed them up, but in any event, you get paid holiday/bonus for working holidays, they PROVIDE your equipment even if you're part time, they reimburse your phone line, they have you set it up with a specific phone company -- I forget its name. But they do pay it. If you are FT, they have health, dental, I believe life ins. They will reimburse for AAMT CMT exam after you pass it (Full time). Also, referral bonus if you recommend someone and they get hired. Discounts on all reference books/materials you buy through them (I think 40%), you have mandatory 1 weekend day with weekend shift differential, and that's just off top of my head. Oh, cash bonuses on your anniversary every year you are with them, which go up each year. Their standards are higher than anyplace I've ever worked, but that is a good thing. I think quality should count for more than it does with previously mentioned MTSOs. I think you would like them. Oh, and PAID training for 1 week before you actually start first official paid day with them. A guaranteed line rate during probationary period. Also, plenty of work. Also, you are considered FT at 32 hrs/wk which means you are eligible for full complement of bennies. Let folks say Spheris, MQ are as good as it gets -- that just means more GOOD MT/MLS jobs for the enlightened among us! Go for it!
Transolutions QA

I just left the company for various reasons, but I did take umbrage with the recent QA changes.  I have been an MT for less than a year.  The lowest QA score I received was a 95, and I was horrified at that.  It does make me feel a bit better to know a person with 20 years experience was having a tough time, too.

Transolutions

Transolutions..Thank you..sm
In spite of the fact that I quit them after 3 weeks, they did pay me the signon bonus. I appreciate that!
Transolutions

Does anyone have any information on Transolutions?  I remember a while back hearing that the platform was a little outdated.  Has that changed at all?  Any other opinions?

TIA!

Transolutions
The platform is not a little outdated, it is a lot outdated! The office staff treat you like you are in kindergarten. Also, the benefits are good but are very expensive. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
Transolutions

Is anyone working for Transolutions who has been affected by the recent change to QA guidelines, on-hold percentages, and possible resultant lower pay?
