Webmedx hiring process

I filled out the preliminary interview sheet and have not heard back yet.  How long does it take and do they notify you even if you don't meet their needs?

Thanks for any info.

I am going through the hiring process with MDI-MD right now and have ???s. sm
We are not talking money yet and before I go too far into it, I have a few questions.

Do they really treat you as an IC or do they hold you to a schedule?

Is there work available in the early morning, say 5 a.m. EST?

What is the rate range for VR editing and is the platform good?
The hiring process is very SLOW!
The training sucks! The platform is a joke, not very MT friendly, IMO. I am about a month in and I am looking for another job.

Oh and I have never posted about this company. I read the negative posts and thought the same; all coming from the same person. My experience has been more negative than positive.
to the post above - the hiring process is
EXTENSIVE regardless of whether you are a hospital employee or a regular employee. You have to go through a physical, drug testing, background check, criminal background check, etc.
ATSI - hiring process
I do not like the recruiting manager/QA manager (initials PT). She really screwed me bad. I have no respect for her. I am glad I am not working there. You are right, I am blessed! Thank you for your input. Have a wonderful holiday!!!
Congratulations! I found the hiring process
quick, efficient and rather pleasant. I took the test on July 3, and was hired on July 5 after my references were checked. I have found everyone to be professional and courteous. The equipment came right away. I've been paid on time, and my account has never run out of work. I'm part-time also; I don't miss nights and weekends. Finally, I'm left in peace to work and don't spend all day reading and answering e-mails. So far, quite good. Welcome aboard!
$1.35 per 1000 characters. hiring process is too sm
daggone long.  they SNAIL MAIL you a tape to transcribe for testing.  DUH!!!!!
Obviously slow in the hiring process. Applied last
week and not a word. I assure you, I am a GREAT MT, and really am surprised not to even hear 1 word other than the format response email. I have since tested and interviewed with 2 other companies, and really can't sit and wait to see if WMX happens to notice my app.
Transcend hiring process question. (sm)

Yes, I know they outsource, but I also shop at WalMart...

Could someone please tell me what to expect from time application submitted, testing sent in, until you hear anything and what might I expect?  TIA.

How long did the process take
After you send a resume and tested, what happened after that and how long did things take?
Normally very fast hiring process; however, they are flooded with apps right now. nm
x
The hiring process usually takes a couple of days,
but depending on the account it can take about 2 weeks to actually be working.
It was a very long and tedious process
I almost didn't do it, but then did. I didn't realize it was virtually unpassable. I would not give my SS# either, they can have that upon employment, not before. Never heard back from them.
Webmedx interview process
Can anyone give tell me about the interview process for Webmedx?  I have one soon and am so nervous.  I would appreciate any info out there!  Thank you!
Are you a senior/mature MT? I think they are putting health insurance costs into hiring process

These companies can get CHEAP labor because some girls have small children and husbands and will sell themselves short when it comes to $$$$$.   With the offshoring and some U.S. MT's working for less than, that has destroyed any hope of a good wage or especially a raise.

web site says MT-s go through a 28 week training process. That's a long time!
.
Does Webmedx automatically do an annual review process? sm
I recently had my 1-year anniversary and have not heard anything from anyone about a review.  I don't know if I should say anything to my STM yet or not.
I meant billing process, not bill paying process.. sorry! nm

I don't think this is over-hiring, I think they are leaving the OT on too long. (sm)
I have 2 accounts and this is the only time I ever run out, when OT has been offered on the weekend.
Is Webmedx hiring?

The last ad I see for them is from about 6 weeks ago.  Are they still hiring and still paying a sign on bonus?  Oh, I guess I should ask, is there plenty of work?

TIA

Webmedx is hiring

This blows my mind.  Webmedx is posting job openings when I'm barely getting 30 hours a week, last week 25.  I ask for a third account and am told to ask again later.  How can these people sleep at night?  I don't know about you other Webmedx MTs, but we are really struggling here, and this is not helping.  Why don't they offer these accounts that need the help to those of us already there?  Why do they feel the need to hire more MTs when the ones they already have aren't getting enough?  Why aren't they keeping their commitment of full-time work to the employees already there?  This just doesn't make sense to me!!  WE CAN'T PAY OUR BILLS ON 25 HOURS A WEEK, PEOPLE!!  QUIT HIRING!! TAKE CARE OF THE GREAT EMPLOYEES YOU ALREADY HAVE!!

Webmedx hiring?
Please, please do those of us who work at Webmedx a favor and do not apply. There is a consistently low work load and more hirings just takes more and more away from us. Going to be a bad holiday season for a lot of us......And will Webmedx explain this to our children?
Webmedx is hiring PT and I really like it there.
They have accounts opening up in June for acute care. Feel free to e-mail me if you want more info.
Webmedx Hiring
Great company, too. Good luck.
MTSO Hiring Bait and Switch (sorry- long)
There's a posting on one of the other forums here and it sounds similar to mine, and I just wondered if I'm having a grassy knoll moment or if it's just coinkidink.

I, in addition to 2 other people, was recently (in the last 4-6 weeks) hired IC to do M-F 9-5 clinic work in a specialty that I have years of experience in. Within the 2nd day, I was making my line counts because of the ability to short-cut the heck out of the very repetitive nature of the specialty and the doctors. At the time I discussed with the recruiter that based on my prior experience, 3 people seemed overkill for this type of account, but that was tut-tutted. Okay...they know the hospital this clinic is affiliated with, not me. Within 1-1/2 weeks, the 6 week old backup was gone. A week later, about 21 jobs came in. Two weeks go by, 17 jobs. Nothing since. Last I heard mid July, there were some technical issues and the account should be up in August. Well, here we are the 5th, nothing.

Needless to say, I've had to request a secondary account, which as it happens is acute care. At the time I talked to the recruiter, she quoted me a 0.5 cpl difference between clinic and acute care. I have not been getting, despite invoices including the extra 0.5. I sent an email off to the powers that be, and was rewarded with a phone call saying fine, but from now on my primary would be the acute care, that my hours would no longer be able to be 9-5, and that M-F is also out the window as acute care doesn't work that way. When I inquired about the status of the clinic, the response was they didn't really know what was going on, but it likely wouldn't be enough work to keep the 3 of us in lines anyway (going on to state that it's our fault a ICs since we can't be counted on to work when we're supposed to as much as we're supposed to). I said okay at the time since I don't work because I want to but because I have to, but needless to say I'm searching again.

So to summarize, I'm an older, single, empty-nester and looked forward to easy lines with little or no brain power required and the freedom for a social life who thought she had stumbled onto the ideal job- perfect shift, perfect days, easy account with great lines, only to find it has vanished, and I'm back to working weekends and into the evening on an account that while not overly difficult is not the joyfully mindless line-accumulating stuff I was looking forward to. Is this common, or do I just have the world's worst luck?
If anyone is interested, Webmedx is hiring.

They are looking for lots of MTs to join for accounts coming on board this summer.

It has been a great place to work.  No negatives either at town hall meeting today (like some posts have said recently).

I think accounts are acute care.

Pay is very nice, especially when you factor in the lower costs of health, dental, and vision insurance being offered.

If you are in need of a job, give it a shot.  It can't hurt.

Good luck testing.

Anyone wonder why Transcend is always hiring and recruiting? Also Webmedx? Do they sm
have trouble keeping people?
Webmedx hiring - work plentiful? nm

Webmedx - how long til 150 lph?
Any Webmedx employees care to share how long it's taken to get to the 150 lph? Are you actually able to type 8 hours a day straight typing? That's a lot considering in other jobs you'd not be clocking out to go to go look at samples, use the restroom or stop to rest your wrists. Yet it looks like to keep a good LPH you've got to clock out for anything that's not straight typing. And then to keep the benefits at 35+ hours a week, you've got to be clocked in. Sort of a catch-22. :(

Newbie here and a bit discouraged. Please share. Does it get better? I'm hoping once my normals are built up for some of these ESLs things will look up. Thanks.
How long does it usually take Webmedx
to get back to you after completing their tests and questionnaire?
Webmedx hiring bonanza and line counts
Webmedx has been hiring quite a few new grads lately for a brand new account. The expectation is for 150 lph after approximately one month. I find this more than a tad optimistic for brand new grads and, althought I've been offered a position with them, am just a little bit leery. Any thoughts anyone?
Has anyone applied to Webmedx, and if so, how long SM
did it take to hear back? tia
As long as Webmedx pays well for VR
accounts, I won't mind, but if they do like Transcend, I will have a real problem. I can't afford to make half the line rate I make transcribing doing VR. We'll see and hope for the best.
How long you been at Webmedx? I currently work there and
think they are a great company except for slow issues. Where you going?
How long have you worked for Webmedx?

How long does it take WebMedx to get back with a

I passed the initial screening and test about a week ago, and the next day was sent an email interview that I sent in the next day.  Is it time to give up hope, and take the wait as a rejection.

How long does it take Webmedx to respond to an on line app? (sm)

Just sent it off Friday, so I guess it could take a couple of days.  I am just ready to make the leap and I think I am leaning towards this company.  They sound pretty good from their ad and I see few/if any negative posts about them.

Just curious how long the whole process will take from application to testing to potential hiring and beginning work.  Any input?

How long does it take Webmedx to respond to an on line app? (sm)

Sent in the initial application, got an immediate E-mail with some different questions on it which I submitted 2 days ago.

Really want to work for this company part time for now, possibly full time later.

Any info appreciated.

I also vote for Webmedx - used to work for the Q, left long ago sm
Have not worked for Transcend or SoftScript so can't judge. I agree with the above poster; pay good, shift diff, PTO, decent bennies. Lots of work. Keep in mind there are two parts of Webmedx - the one on Enterprise platform and ChartMatrix; the ChartMatrix side seems to have more negative reviews.
QA process.....sm
Read on another board that someone was fired because of QA without warning.  Is this new QA system they were talking about at Transolutions?  Very interested in knowing if this is the same company.  Also very interested in hearing from other radiology MTs who current work there.  Would like to know their platform and line/report rate before I waste my/their time testing.  TIA
Want to know the whole process...
You need to send an E-mail to your PS giving your resignation.  If you do not hear back within 2 days, call her (Most likely, you will need to make this call).  They will try to talk you into staying.  You may hear from HER supervisor as well.  Make sure you ask about getting compensated for all unused PTO.  Hope this helps.  (It is definitely a wise move....trust me).
The "easing out process."
Has anyone been eased out of QT? I believe this is what is happening to me, but if anyone has gone through this, could you please comment...less and less work, having to call repeatedly to get work, benefits problems...etc., that sort of thing or am I just paranoid?  I am not calling and asking to speak with anyone in particular because I know what they will say...it is a matter of not wanting to fire outright but making things pretty miserable...you know what I mean.
Not my experience. Best process I have gone through.
Had the most complete interview any company had given. The test was thorough and not long. The training process allowed me to ask what I need to ask. I love my assigned accounts.
Does anyone know what their testing process is like? nm

Testing process
Just wondering if anyone else thinks that taking an actual transcription test that consists of a total of 6 different voice files is a bit too much.   Three maybe, but six (6)?!!!  IMO they should be able to tell if you are any good at just giving 3 different ones.  Any opinions on this matter?  M
What is their testing process like? NM

process time
I sent my resume Sun p.m., received an email from KS with general info Mon a.m., then they sent an email with a list of questions(which I thought was great) and I immediately replied. They called me this morning to offer me the position! I have everything I need to get started so I just have to wait for HR to send paperwork - probably Monday I will start.
I'm also in the interview process and...
I was told about the new ortho account coming up too. I don't know about other areas, but ortho seems to have plenty of work.
I'm in the process of accepting a position with them. SM
They didn't say anything about a turn-around time, thought, so maybe this varies by account.  I liked the sound of the account I'm going to be doing and so I'm going for it.  I wish the pay was a little higher, but I always wish that!  I actually didn't ask about raises - didn't think about it.  I'm not really much help, am I? lol
I'm in the process of leaving mine right now!
I have great accounts, great doctors, an awesome editor, and my pay is always accurate and on time. Unfortunately, the owner won't respond to my repeated requests for a raise in CPL. (Not even a yes or no or maybe or in a few months--nothing!) Instead, I'm getting more and more operative reports, which I love, but when you're making far too little, well, sometimes you just have to move on. I'll miss them, but I don't think I'll regret it.
TransTech - application process

Can any experienced Transtech employees fill me in on the process of getting a job with TransTech? Did you need to follow up your application with an email, or is that too pestering? If they contacted you, how long did it take after you applied? Any other things you could fill me in on would be appreciated. I would really like to have some contact with this company.

Thanks!
