not tolerate this despicable practice - it happens, send a short e-mail stating that you had job by dictator #12345, which downloaded into your queue at 00:00 hours and which has inexplicably disappeared. You might know the dictator from prior work or you might not, but usually have a reason for removing a job from your queue, especially if it's only been there a short time. There is 1 who is especially adept at this, whose name/initials I won't post here for the same reason I don't post a company's name/initials - but she knows who she is. I have gotten responses in the past like, You had 2 very long jobs back-to-back or The job was in your queue for a long time (which is why I note the job # and download time). BS with capital letters. I would not let it ride .. this is bread off of YOUR table onto that of the Lead - who already has the unfair advantage of completely being able to control work flow and also picking/choosing work to self-suit her own agenda.
