What companies offer FLEXIBLE schedules for

full time employees?  I am willing to work the hours required for full time status, but I am in college too and I have to have the flexibility - my schedule changes every semester.  Can anybody point me to ANY good companies who let you work whenever you want as long as you get your hours in?  And I am not interested in IC - only working as an employee.  Thanks!

Flexible schedules
Amphion Medical Solutions: You can say you will work 5 hours a day, or 20 hours a week, but that is about as vague as they can tolerate. Contact HR@amphionmedical.com

IC status - flexible schedules

Any companies that permit a flexible schedule for IC status.  Any info would be appreciated.

How flexible is Keystrokes as far as schedules...sm

I currently transcribe radiology for MQ full-time and after doing some research, I'm thinking about applying elsewhere full-time specifically Keystrokes because I hear they do a lot of radiology work.

How flexible is the work schedule there at Keystrokes.  Do you have to punch in and out like at MQ?  Really getting tired of punching in and out.

Recent info would be appreciated...looked at archives already.

Yes they offer flex schedules
You have a 12 hour window to get in your daily scheduled hours.
They offer DD, and they were pretty flexible for IC
although they did ask for a loose schedule. I'm not sure how flexible they are with employee status. For the most part, they pretty much leave you alone as long as you are doing your job, but they do have their psychotic moments. MT pay is fairly competitive, but Editor pay is bottom of the barrel. There are pros and cons there, just like with anywhere else. Pay is every 2 weeks.
Does TT Offer Flexible Hours For ICs
I've been reading all the wonderful posts about TransTech. I saw on their web site where they require 5 years experience. I have only 4, and I'm looking for part time or p.r.n. hours. Does anyone know if they hire with flexible working hours? Thanks so much, and congrats to all who have been hired. It's refreshing to read posts like this.

what i'm looking for are names of companies that don't enforce schedules

I'm not asking whether they exist or not, just if anybody knows of any and what their names are.  At one time I did work with somebody who said that they had worked for a company and when they didn't feel like working, they just didn't, and the company didn't care either.

Are there any companies with accounts requiring just 24-hour turnarounds/no set schedules?nm

Flexible companies
I know of three that will allow you a window for your work: Meridian, MDI-MD, and Futurenet. I have not worked for Meridian or Futurenet, but I can say that I think MDI-MD is a super place to work.
Most flexible companies?
Just wondering what companies have the most flexible schedules? I am working full-time now but also looking for a second, part-time job. So far no luck looking through the old posts. Any info would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks in advance :)
Looking for flexible companies?
Hi :) Hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend. I have finally found the energy to apply for a second part-time job to help me get back on my feet after leaving MQ :)

I have applied to a bunch already, but I was just wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions on flexible companies. For my second job, I'm looking for a company where I could give a general time I would like to work or one that sends me the work and needs it back within a 12-24 hour time period? That would work out best for me. Thanks in advance for any help! :)
Can you give me the name of companies who are flexible in regards to
once you are done with your required lines or your own personal goal, but is less than 8 hours, allow you to stop at that point.  Hope that makes sense.  Say I can do 1500 lines in 6 hours, are there any companies who will allow me to quit once I get my 1500 lines?  If so, would you share the names please?
Companies with flexible scheduling?

I'm looking for a company that I can commit to lines per pay period and not a set schedule?

companies that I have found that are fair and flexible
QT and FutureNet
Any companies hiring for 300 lines a day and very flexible with hours? SM

I am looking to work for a company who is looking for some overflow help, 300 lines a day.  I am willing to give and take a little in regards to the work schedule.  If some days there is not enough to get 300 lines that is fine and if some days there is an abundance of work and you may require more from me, that is fine also.

I would love to find a company who uses a transcription-friendly software like DocQScribe (not sure of spelling) or Inscribe.  I am also looking for a flexible schedule, where I can just hop on throughout the day and transcribe.

Does anybody know of such a company?  I would be more than grateful to hear of any.

Thanks so much!!!!

I think most companies offer direct deposit since they may
have MTs all over the U.S.  Some companies charge you for DD, some don't.  Some companies still mail checks, though will overnight it at your expense.   I think the companies that mail checks is a fairly small number.

What companies offer a 12-hour window?

What companies offer employee status?

I'm needing to get health insurance through work and wanted to know what companies offer this.  I'd prefer a company that required 1000 lines or less per shift if that is possible.  The line rate really isn't that important as my main concern would be a good family health plan.

Any leads are appreciated!  Thanks.

Do any companies offer insurance that covers IVF? sm

Does anyone happen to know if any companies offer insurance that covers IVF?  I have been in this business for nearly a decade and have been doing QA for the last 4, but I would take a job right now with just about anyone as long as they offered insurance that covered IVF.  It is so expensive out of pocket, and I really need the coverage.  I have even been considering taking a job out of the transcription industry to get this coverage.  So, I guess if anyone knows anywhere at all I can get this coverage.. please help!!!  I am unfortunately in a state where this coverage is not mandated... so it is very hard to come by... :(

I am not sure if this was the right board... but I thought it was worth a shot... :P

Are there any companies that offer part-time
employee status?  I am looking to work certain days of the week, but I'd like part-time employee status?  Is there anyone that is currently in that type of situation that could steer me in the right direction?  I have a lot experience and am very reliable.  Thanks in advance for any help in this regard.  I appreciate my fellow MTs and their opinions count in my book.
I asked for more than what I've seen other companies offer.
There was about a 2 second hesitation and then they said yes we can do that.
Does anyone know of any good companies that offer IC status and little ASR?
I'm working for MQ right now as flexible part-time but thinking I want to go back to IC status.  I just have this feeling that things aren't going to be as flexible as they used to be.  That and I'm sick of all the ASR and getting paid crap!  Most of my work is ASR, I'm getting way more lines, but my paycheck is smaller!?!?!  Need flexibility and a decent paycheck!  Any input would be great from anybody!  I've worked only for MQ for 8 years and wondering if there would be anything better out there!
Any companies out there that offer the hospital benefits besides Diskriter
I currently work in-house a hospital but they do not have at-work positions and I would like ot work at home so I wondered if there were other companies and/hospitals that hire at-home MTs with full benefits....besides Diskriter as I have not heard a lot of good news about them and it makes me nervous to apply.
Are there any GOOD companies that offer IC status (and no weekends?) ??

I would really like to work a Monday through Friday job.  Plus, I prefer IC status.   Probably an impossible combo...

Thanks!

Yeah, and do any companies offer PTO for part time?

Can anyone recommend companies that offer IC status, part time?

Any good ones out there for IC's?  Part time?

Does Spheris offer IC status?

Any help appreciated!

Any companies offer QA/Editor jobs (employee status)
I currently work as an Editor (IC) for a company that pays a rather low hourly rate ($12). I can only be considered for an increase after working 6 months if I average 300+ lines an hour(to $14). Compound this with the fact that there is usually no work.

I find it impossible to do more than 300 lines an hour while providing feedback therefore, I will never get a raise! I am looking to work for a company as an employee who pays well (hourly) whether there is work or not. I'm very concerned about not having enough work to meet my financial obligations.
Are there ANY companies out there that actually offer decent family medical coverage??
Some are just downright ridiculous amounts. Right now, I am with a company that offers decent single coverage but the family is like $750 a month and I cannot just work for insurance. There has to be something left over to like....eat on... or pay bills. Any suggestions out there. I do have over 13 years of experience.
