Why be required to work one weekend day when the work is already offshored for the weekends and 3rd shift?

Seems to me that would be just one long shift of sitting there waiting for work that come in because it's all being segued to India.

Am I missing something here? It just seems if the weekend work is delegated to the ILPs, why is the American MT required to sit there with NO WORK FOR AN 8-HOUR SHIFT?

I'm so confused :-(
