Because some of us have extensive training and knowledge in this field, we should not be entitled to be compensated accordingly?

I am really hoping I can stick this out for another 2 years until my son starts school and then I will be making a career change. This is a field that I absolutely love, yet the pay is going backwards, and the demands are becoming greater. I know of no other profession that is doing this. It is also not because of the economic crisis. This has been going on for years. And it is really too bad, because there are a lot of really good transcriptionists out there and they are just being mistreated and under paid. Sad.
