Why don't you come down off your pedestal!!

It is MTs with your mentality that has our profession in the shape that it's in.  Everyone wants to work M-F banker's hours in a profession that has the need for 24-hour employees as the hospitals are a 24-hour business.

I work 3rd shift, NOT A CRAPPY SHIFT.  I work these hours because I actually get to spend more time with my family on the weekends and evenings.  Plus, I ALWAYS have work.  I do get paid as much as nurses make, too.  I made that even before I went on 3rd shift.

Maybe you should go find a job as a bank teller????  We need people in this profession who are willing to do what it takes to get the work turned around and actually care if the work is returned on time!!!!
