Wow...you are not very bright are you?

Maybe you should have given your decision to post on this forum some thought...ya think? Why in the world would so many people post here that they have been without work for days and weeks if it were not true? You imply that it is people who no longer work for MDI who are doing this.

After being called liars, who do you think is going to contact you? After you have implied that the people who are posting are people whom MDI has severed ties...why would they contact you? If I worked for MDI, whether I had work or not, I would be looking for work elsewhere as your post is quite tacky and shows that MDI prefers to ignore the issues of their staff and call them liars instead.

Here is a suggestion for you: Try contacting all leads and supes and ask them about the work volumes. Not only ask, but ask to see reports that show the daily work volumes on your accounts.

You have not helped the situation...just made it worse.

Wow! You are not too bright.
Please don't share those opinions with your kids. They will have very low aspirations in life.
That should be "too" bright

More on the bright side

As a career MT who got sick of being jerked around by MQ, I've had my resume and online applications through this site out there for less than a week.  My emails are piling up, my phone rings with interviews, I've had six job offers to seriously consider, none of which were offering less than 9 cpl.  That's not counting the ones that were offering less than that, which I had no hesitation in declining.  Since I'm also holding out for a job in which I feel I'll be happy, and get the specialty areas my little heart desires, I've been really surprised and pleased at the responses.

I've actually already accepted a new job (with MDI-MD), but the offers still keep coming in, and one lady went so far as to tell me they'd match MDI and top it, if I'd come work for her instead.  Whew!  Heady stuff!  I could get a serious God Complex here if I don't watch out

Just as an addendum, I refused the offer above, because my interview with the gal at MDI was so terrific, I think I'll be really happy working for them, and after 19 years and facing burnout (thank you, MQ), that's as important to me as the money.

Look at the bright side.
At least they won't all need plane tickets to Hawaii at the company's expense. If you're so miserable, QUIT!!!
Look on bright side, it's still better than

Bright Consulting
Has anyone had any experiences good or bad working for Bright Consulting?
PS - look on the bright side -- you've got

Axolotl a bright spot in a dim MT universe
Seems like the company is hiring.  Though they are really picky it seems like they are what we are looking for, because their insurance rates are as low as some other companies used to be and as low as hospitals are and start in 30 days, they have a sign on bonus, a referral bonus, great high line rate and provide equipment with deposit.  Company started by doctors and do not off shore.  I am pretty happy about the prospect, however, they only take really really experienced MTs. Anybody have experience with this firm and could provide further information would be well appreciated.  They just got a new account, I do not think they normally hire many because very low turn over. Any comments at all pro or con would be very very appreciative. Thanks in advance.
When someone wants to go into this business, I have told them they aren't bright enough sm
because where I live, it is a filthy backwater of uneducated, poorly spoken people.

I seen you are workin' at home, how do I get that job? YOU GO TO SCHOOL but in YOUR case, you need to start with remedial English grammar...

I have told others that I don't think they are bright enough to do this job. It requires top notch...and you know what to fill in here AND you will make no money for YEARS, if ever. Oh and ummm it will take over your life. Even most MTSOs think we are typing machines, no matter how much hunny, sweety pies and darlin's they dish out.
Trying to see bright side - I am bad about using mouse - working very (sm)

hard today on starting to break the habit.  I took the little class thing on increasing our skills w/o mouse and do try to use a little more but now I feel I had better get my fat butt in gear on it immediately.  Hopefully this will help offset the losses I am going to encounter.

I figure I will put the mouse on the left hand side to start with so I will be more conscious of whenever I read for it.   Old habits die so slowly.  Shoot, this old girl took forever to quit reaching up to return the carriage on the old typewriters.  (Am I giving my age away?)

I have about 7 more years until retirement and I do not want to train now for another profession, don't think that would be too profitable.  I want to bend like a willow in the wind and adjust to whatever comes up with this profession until then.  Trying to be positive.  Will paste on a smile and work, work, work on quitting using that mouse.

Didn't say not credible..just not that bright if she stays where she "hates" it.

Follow up on Bright Spot in Dim Universe Axolotl
This is to the MT who was so excited about Axolotl a while back, and anyone new there.  Thinking of applying, because it seemed perfect, but then staying with company until people have been there a while. It has been a few weeks.  To the happy Transcriptionist and those who went with her to Ax, wondering how it is going. I don't want the stress of leaving my current job, so comments would be appreciated.  If that place is too good to be true, I'd like to know and just stay where I am. TIA.
