You can state that due to your client load (most ICs work for more than one client/MTSO) you are unable to attend. 


If you do attend, you can write off every expense for that trip you have to make.


Bottom Line:  Find a new MTSO hiring ICs that are realistic about training.  There is something called PC Meeting, etc. 


You could tell them also that you just simply are unable to attend due to other committments since you are an IC (again ICs should be working for more than one client/MTSO), so they are welcome to send materials through the mail and just learn it on your own, since it's obvious they are behind in the times, i.e., PC Meeting sites, e-mails, etc.
