Do you need a second line or Cphone to work for QT? Do they have clinic? nm

You need a second line as you use a Cphone, which she will lend to you. Said she had lots of work.nm

Someone else asking if you still need a Cphone & 2nd line to work for them. Any internet accts? nm
s
You needed a Cphone & 2nd line to work there in the past. nm
s
But then they posted everyone's production, and
one look at that, and there went any notion I may have had that it was just me having trouble. It clearly isn't. It's also plain that the 400-500 lph-ers are the exception, not the rule.

I agree with you that this is why they try to isolate us from each other, though. Also why they flood the boards with suits when they make unpopular decisions.
Also use Meditech, but you need a Cphone (she'll lend it) and pay for a 2nd line. nm
s
They did away with the WC, but still need a Cphone & 2nd line as no internet accts. In past, they

my line rate and production
Oh boo hoo... I do not know what to do. I was making so much money on my last job until they lost their accounts. I am making the same line rate now but it is so much more involved as far as formatting and no MS Word that I don't know what to do. I'm looking to the future and my bills and I'm not smiling. Is it time to leave the business or are there places I can make my 200 lines an hour like I used to?
Line requirements, production incentives

From an ad last year, you needed a Cphone to work. Don't know anything about them. nm
s
Yes. Their line rate is based on production with a minimum

per pay period (twice a month) of 3500 lines.  I think that 3500 lines per pay period only pays around .065 cents a line though.  5000+ lines a pay period is 8 cents a line.  They are IC, but they do pay the employer portion of Soc.Security (kind of like statutory).  They pay for black and white 65-character line (spaces included).  Hope that helps.

0.0425 on eScription, lot more than double line production.

Is all Keystrokes work done on Lanier or Cphone systems? Do they have any 'net accounts? Thx. nm

Post from 2005 said you needed a Cphone and you HAD to buy Workman's Comp insurance to work
s
That last line you posted....
THOSE PEOPLE WHO BRAG CAN'T TYPE AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR WORK!!!

Keep telling yourself that, hun.

That one single line you posted made me realize you're one of those who can't cut it in VR and therefore presume anyone who does well at it must be lying or simply uploading inferior work. Is it that difficult to grasp that perhaps some people just have an ability that you lack, or does it make you personally feel better about your lack of ability in an area to call others liars or slackers? Just because you cannot conquer it does not mean no one can.

There's always one of you around with not much better to do than TRY to convince yourself we're liars for doing well at VR.

Good luck with the Q.

My line rate was better than any I've seen posted
before.  I haven't been there long enough to get a raise, though I think someone asked this question last week and the answer was you do get raises.
it's been posted in the past that line counts are
pretty much set differently from one MTSO to another.

Problem is, clients cannot prove their counting systems no more than we can.

Regulation is in the future, unfortunately, that might hurt us.
I thought someone posted on here about 75 char line, and can't check lines...nm

I work there also and my production is low but.. sm...
I've always thought it was due to the high ESLs on my account.  Seems like 80% of them are ESL.
Excuse me, but yes she did. The OP's very last line posted by anony asks "do they pay spaces?&
Someone probably needs more coffee this morning but it isn't me. All I did was make a simple comment and this is what I get. It's no wonder a lot of us don't post more often as we get flamed for everything we say.
Does JLG work in shifts or by production? TIA
nm
I only work part-time, and my production sm
depends on the reliability of my connection. On most days I do 30 minutes of dictation, which will yield 300-500 lines depending on everything. I have over 30 years' experience. FC uses Chartscript which is so simple to use. Just run a macro, type in patient's info as dictated, and you're on your way. Reports follow one after another in the document file for that account. As far as lot of work, I only know what's going on in my little world. I have plenty of work. Hope this helps. FC is IC only, BTW.
There is a good reason why we work on production . . .
and that reason is production is the only way we will make money. You don't get raises with wage pay and you're basically locked in with no chance to increase your earnings.
They weed out, if you don't have work you can't make production. (sm)
Or are you talking about weeding out quality wise?
They use Emdat. Only paying 7-8 cpl + production. Clinic work. nm
s
Are some of their production bonuses tied to the amount of work to QA. I wasnt sure about that. I
think that must be a different bonus.
Ah, a random work load can really kill production. Can they be routed
s
I just stated with them. Nice people, work out of Word, and pay increases with production. nm
nm
Easy platform, PTO if you are employee, production incentive, direct deposit, work flow varies on
different accounts, but usually have enough to keep busy, lots of QA feedback.
I posted below that I work there...

Congratulations and welcome aboard!  I honestly have nothing but positives to say about this company.  I think the most important thing is to work when you are scheduled to work, as their TAT really means a lot to them and is what is helping make them grow.  If something bothers you, just be open and don't let it fester...talk to them.  Everyone I have ever talked to there is extremely approachable.  The QA lady rocks, as she also knows what it's like to work in the trenches.

Try not to get too stressed out about learning how things are done...it will come.  I'm one who learns very quickly from my mistakes because I am that high-strung, gut-always-in-a-knot person, and I still make them mistakes, but don't we all?   If you want to e-mail me privately, go for it...just click on my name up there.  Best wishes!

Don't you still work for QT? You've posted

several times in the past, always seeming to want to get something started.

TO LTMT: You posted below that you work FT for Keystrokes (sm)
and PT for Smart-Med. I work for KS and I didn't think I could work for anyone else. I thought I remembered reading something about it in the Employee Handbook when I was hired.  New handbooks are coming out this week...but just wondered if it really is OK with KS to work PT for someone else.  TIA.
It depends on who is offering it, and what kind of work is available. If you posted the company sm
name, we could give more helpful advice.
cphone

I don't want to sound ignorant, but what exactly is a c-phone? how does it work?

Thank you for your kind help.

Pay is said to be low, 800 lpd is PT, as of Jan. 07 they were still Cphone only
s
what is a Cphone?
anyone care to explain?  Thank you for your help!
Do you need your own Cphone and own LD, not reimbursed? nm
s
Not a Cphone - a Lanier!

CPHONE AND EXERCISE
Never Mind, I turned the connection upside down and it worked. Thanks, All Have a Great Saturday.  I just got out of the hospital for five days HIGH BP STROKE, MIGRAINE, DUE TO YOU GUESSED IT- TYPING ALL THE TIME, AND NO EXERCISE. Did 30 minutes of power walking already. Not ready to go to the grave yet. I challenge everyone to do at least 30 minutes of some form of exercise a day.
Cphone is Dictaphone
C phone is actually a Dictaphone. Looks like a telephone and you dial into the hospital clinic for dictation. Has a foot pedal and headset. Technology has been around forever and is still used by a lot of places. You can find them on ebay for about $100-200.
Cphone is fine
Actually Cphone works fine for me. No waiting for files to pull up and sound quality depends on where you live and type of phone service. I've used it for years and years and have no problems with it.
Any RAD MT at MDI-MD using Meditech and Cphone?
I use a c-phone on current hospital account - no problems with it and make good money using it.  I have never used Meditech platform and would love to hear from any MDI-MD rad MT who has used this combination (Meditech with Cphone)  on the pros and cons.  They offered me a good per report rate so I am considering employment. Thanks.
they supply the cphone, but...sm
the accounts they have with C-phones are really AWFUL!
I have not posted anything wrong. It is common knowledge that Keystrokes does not send work offshor
Now I know why so many people do not like these boards. I did not write anything bad or over the top. I simply stated facts. I agree with the others and will now observe but not post. This is craziness here. If someone asks a question, I guess they would rather have answers from those that do not know the real answers. Call the company if you have questions from this point out. The phone number and web site are not secret.
sorry...they will lend you a Cphone if needed. nm
s
You need your own Cphone and LD plan for Execuscribe. Don't know anything else. nm

Used to need a Cphone for there. I never got a reply the 2x I applied. nm

Philbrick will lend you a Cphone, but you pay for your own LD. A yr

do they still have the cphone accounts mixed in
with internet accounts? Thank you.
