about IP addressess...sm

I'm no internet wiz, but I think it's a little bit trickier than that! I could be more easily traced if I were using a static IP address, but I'm not. All you can tell from my IP address is my ISP and my general geographic location.

As for my email address, sure, it's traceable if it's REAL, but who says it has to be a real, valid email address? What would stop me from making up an email address like easterbunny@egg.com? Also, as I'm understanding this board, my email is required on this board only if I want to receive replies by email. My ISP allows me to create disposable email addresses to maintain anonymity if I decide I need to.

And I don't think hacking is limited to 18 years and older!
