are they still going to have so many different ones? I think having one would better for productivity but again if they don't pay well for VR (75% of straight typing) it would be a nonstarter for me.

Basically what it means is OSI is eliminating paid holidays
OSI has no sick pay at all. You have to use your measly PTO for any time off, and it is the worst PTO I have ever seen. My teenage daughter has more PTO from a pizza joint... yep its the truth. So now basically no paid holidays for the majority of the employees. This sux big time.
It sounds like they're eliminating the 12 hour window
I received an email a little while ago stating they're going to keep track of who's tardy, not working, etc.
They no longer hire part-time and may be eliminating part-time employees within the next 6 months.
They are going to have those that are PT go FT if possible. Some accounts require 1 weekend day, but not all. Most transcriptionists have 1 account with 1 back-up account. I know that they are hiring for hospital accounts in medical records and radiology right now.
