extremely low pay, but made it sound like i would be paid more by being paid for Keystrokes but after like what was pulling teeth it comes out to exactly 65 characters a line which includes spaces.  hope this helps.

Do you have any more information that you could share? Are they hiring home based transcriptionists? Thanks.

I didn't quite understand what the lady meant by not being registered in New York either.  I was assuming it meant that they weren't registered to take taxes out in New York and she had said she put a call into someone to find out if they could become registered (whatever that means!)  Supposedly, they could still hire me as an independent contractor.  Anyways, I was confused and the way they pay is very confusing.  I wasn't about to sign on with a company and hope that they eventually could give me benefits.  I could be totally wrong in my interpretation of what registering means but that is what I gathered from it.  Sorry so confusing.
Chase
Yes they offered me a position for a lousy 7.28 cents. I have not been paid that for 8 years!! Plus she would not tell me about the account until I tested. I am done with being an employee for many reasons, going IC.
Chase Transcriptions, Inc?
in Ohio.  Any good/bad experiences from actual MTs only who work for them, please.  Thanks.
Anybody know anything about Chase Transcription? TIA

Chase Transcription
I called them today. They pay 4 cents to 9 cents per line. The 9 cents is for 3rd shift. All acute care work. Benefits for full time. Hope this helps.

Any feedback on Chase?  What do you think of the pay rate configuration?
Chase Transcription

Has anyone heard of them?  And what are your thoughts and opinions?

Thanks,

I saw their ad on another website and applied.  I was contacted the next day but I need benefits and they are not registered in New York which is where I am so I would have to be an independent contractor.  I know they also have a transcription school.  They also have a weird way of paying.  They pay by total Keystrokes and it was very confusing to figure out but when I did, I figured I would be making less there anyways.  Don't know anything else about them but they did get back to me quickly which is better than some other places.
Chase Transcriptions

Does anyone know about this company?  Pros, cons, etc.  Thanks.

Dose anybody have any experience with Chase Transcription. Any info good or bad would be appreciated.

Thanks

I worked there for 2 years until my insurance rate went from 59/month to 159/month. Had to quit.  Easy platform. When I worked there which was about 2 years ago all accounts had to use the same account specifics.  Made it a lot easier.  where I work now, everyone has something different. some wants things bolded, not bolded, stacked, not stacked, etc.  difficult to remember when you have multiple accounts and you know how QA can be

First I want to thank everyone on here.  I have been working as an IC for a great company for 5 years and have been out of the loop when looking for a job.  Unfortunately, I am having to look for another job to supplement this one as my line count has been cut in half.  This board has been so informative about who to steer clear of and who are the good companies.  In saying that, I have a phone interview with Chast Transcription next week. Was hoping to get some feedback from those who do work or have worked for this company, any hints on what I should ask, etc.  Thanks in advance everyone.
I had trouble with Chase

I worked for Chase for about 9 months. Let's just say STAY AWAY. VERY AWAY. It was not a good experience. I am still looking for work.

Chase Transcriptions

Did anyone apply or get hired by Chase Transcriptions?  I am curious to know the pros and cons from current employees.  If I apply and am hired for part-time, do they allow you to choose your schedule or is it assigned?

Thanks so much!!!!

Do you mean the one with the persistently happy employee who used to have to chase IC paychecks
from her previous company?  I am glad to find someone else who could appreciate that irony LOL!
MQ Ohio CSC

Ohio has to be one of the best offices to work for in the MQ system. My girlfriend got transferred there a couple of months ago and has never run out of work yet and she is only in one account, communications is great, all kind of incentives that you do not have to ask for---just my luck when I asked to be transferred there, supposedly there is a freeze on transfers and I am stuck in the northeast

Keep up the good work Ohio--it is appreciated by the MT's that work there.

OHIO MQ
You must be management, or a favorite, or something! That is NOT how it is. I have been there for 5 years+. Did someone ask you to post that to boost morale or what?
Ohio MQ
I hope you hold that high opinion after you've been there awhile. You DO run out of work, poor communication, lots of luck getting a raise. If there is any question or problem, you cannot get a response. Good luck.
Ohio MQ
If i didn't know you were talking about Ohio, I would have thought you were talking about foxboro and amherst. My girlfriends dealing with the Ohio office has been nothing but good and actually i know of at least 3 others that were in my old office before it closed and they opted to go to Ohio rather than be transferred to foxboro and it has worked out great for them. maybe with the lack of work in foxboro, that could be why she was transferred. i always thought the foxboro office would close and just merge with the amherst office anyways. after all i thought the goal of MQ was to have all their accounts on the platform and those of us that are still in foxboro are on MTS so are we a dying breed
Try Ohio...
Ohio MQ is awesome - plenty of work!
MQ/OHIO...
I have all those things U want working 4 MQ/Ohio...come join me in the Buckeye State, where the grass is always greener....
MQ/Ohio - sm
Would you email me and tell me how to go about contacting that particular office? I was offered a job by MQ about a month ago, but it was for the Denver office. They told me that was the only place that had a radiology position....thanks greenfl3@yahoo.com
Ohio MQ-What is not to like

Does she like working for the Ohio office over the Amherst/Foxboro office??? What is not to like, she is in ONE account and always has work, when transferred was told that she would be paid extra for working after 3PM, working on the week-ends, and working on the holidays and the most important thing about all this is that she did not have to ask, this is the  norm at the Ohio office, Again and again it is stated, why are not all the MQ offices run the same?????? Maybe if they were, it would not be so miserable working for the Amherst office. We are not asking for too much, just to have the chance to make a living.

I worked for them for a short time over the summer; very nice and laid back folks.  Pay is good for experienced MTs and always on time!!!  I really enjoyed working for them and only left because I'm working a full-time employee status job now with Axolotyl.
Ohio transfer
You are so lucky--the Ohio office is a great place to work for, all kinds of incentives and you do not have to ask for them, plenty of work--good luck--you will enjoying working there, my girlfriend asked to be transferred there from Foxboro about 3 months ago and it has turned out to be the best move that she could have made. She is in one acccount and has all the work that she needs--what I don't understand is if there is so much work in the amherst office and accounts that are out of TAT, why you were not transferred there????
Ohio MQ office
Welcome aboard.  I've been with them for 10 yrs, now on DocQscribe, love it, never ever out of work...we need the help desperately
Felicia--go to Ohio
the Ohio office is the best-my friend is there and always gets her lines and that is only in one account--if you can get transferred to Ohio, please go there--stay away from the NE
MQ Columbus/OHIO SC

Not sure how long you have been with Columbus Buffy, but Columbus is now the ONLY Ohio CSC, ergo called the Ohio CSC.  Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton & Cincinnati were consolidated 2 years ago under the Columbus office to form the Ohio CSC.  Now many of my old timer's that I started with inhouse went home to either work or retire.

I've been with them for 21 years now (starting with the old Transcriptions Limited) and have been through more supervisors, coordinator's and managers than I care to think about, but I honestly believe the reason we are so successful now is that our operations manager has been there/done that.  Started as an inhouse M/assistant, worked up a few notches into various positions IE; scheduling, weekend coordinator, supe, etc.  Went home to MT for a while then came back in a few years back and really worked her way up into the present position.  Her ability to know what's needed all the way around, delegate and common sense attitude really speaks for itself in how successful we are.

Nope, never met the OM, only talked to her on the phone over the years and am not *the cheerleader*.  Only stating what I know for a fact and what works for my CSC.

They are located in Ohio....sm
An offshoot of one of the major health systems here in the Akron area. Were just recently started and are trying to get their feet wet in the national arena. Primarily were doing nothing but local work just a few months ago and very disorganized at the time. Don't know what they're like now. Benefits seemed good, comparable, but were just getting started. Originally wanted 150 lph with 98% quality and a rather harsh grading scale. For instance, medical word misuse was minus 5 percentage points, omitted (consequential) dictation minus 5 points, medical misspelling minus 3 points, and so on.... Hope this helps!
Ohio Companies

Has any one heard of Physicians First Transcription company, or Priority Transcription Company?

Thanks,

Cheryl

I think that is somewhere in Ohio, but could be wrong. nm

To Tired in Ohio
Do you know what it is about the platform that is causing your counts to go down? Is it the way it counts lines or other things. Would appreciate if you could elaborate a bit. Thank you.
I do some overflow for the Ohio office...
I work out of a different MQ office but have been doing some overflow work for the Ohio office. I only work on one account for their office, but it seems to have a lot of work. Not too many ESL docs, though there are a couple of tough ones. With the account I am on, mostly the dictators just speak very rapidly, but with time I've been able to get more comfortable with them.

Good luck to you!
