You would get along with my husband.  He is a chef in a five-star restaurant, they also cater wedding parties on site.  He went to school and has his certificate or whatever it is.  He loves doing pastry as well.  One day he wants his own business.  He's really good at what he does and it is something he loves.  He has had this passion for cooking since he was 12.

Actually I am going to learn how to be a pastry chef, SM
but in the meantime I am getting into catering. That cant be outsourced LOL. I have been doing this for almost 20 years and I am just so tired....
Did you see Suze Orman talk to the pastry chef?
Woman had always wanted to be one, went to school, came out with debt and couldn't get a job to make more than $8.00 an hour to save her life. Was devastated.

Suze said the stats on such jobs are so poor - the chance of making a living enough to pay off the cost of education was practically none.

I was surprised but the woman was very upset. Said none of her colleagues were able to fare any better, either.

Be sure before you leap!
