Somone oughta explain to them that the "I" in
They obviously don't seem to get the picture.

My feeling is this: Give me full benefits like an employee, and then maybe I'll honor your shift inflexibility. If not, then leave me the *>%#$&@ alone, cuz I'm too busy trying to earn enough money to buy my own insurance to be worrying about the straight shifts you think you're going to impose on me.
for someone who says they are not trying to be snotty
I want to apologize for coming across as sounding snotty. However, I have been in this business MANY years and the way that I see it is that a lot of people want EVERYTHING, benefits, excellent pay, etc., but they don't want to be willing to work for it. Most medical transcription companies have problems with weekend coverage because of the fact that too many MTs feel that their family obligations come first. Hospitals operate 24/7 and on weekends and holidays, and the MTSO or company expects that an MT will provide the same amount of coverage.

FN also offers bonuses for working weekends and holidays. I work part-time for another service who doesn't offer such a thing.

I have read job posts and generally, if a company does not mention DD, then it is usually not offered.

As I said before in my original post, its a matter of personal choice.
Hey snotty person

Someone was talking about it yesterday you bitch.

About how we can't celebrate it anymore fuckface.

I did not think your reply was snotty at all....sm
I do agree with you that eventually we are probably going to have to just accept this as a sign of the changing times in this industry. One by one, it just seems that all the companies are going this route, whether we like it or not. Really not much we can do.
Maybe you are snotty and arrogant. nm

LOL okay....you must be extremely insecure to think that was snotty
??
Thank you, I get tired of snotty answers too

Snotty or chrarming recruiter--irrelevan, right?.
After all, you're looking for a job, not a new friend, and anyway, you'll never talk to the recruiter again once you're hired. If you were interested in the position, go back. It costs you a phone call, right?

For others looking, keep your eyes on the prize. There are a probably a lot of brusque recruiters out there these days.
