Yes! Nice lady, nice company. nm
xx
She's a nice lady but there isn't
I spent most weekends on her stuff.  The pay was way low, but she doesn't charge much anyway.  She would dump on me Fri night... not sure why she keeps needing this same position, but that should tell you something.  She posts for this position every month or so...  I guess no one lasts....
nice spelling lady
x
I'd say no way, nice lady or not. There is absolutely no
way I would wait for 45 days for a paycheck.  She's waiting to get paid before she pays MT and if she doesn't have the $$ to pay MTs whether or not account pays, that doesn't speak well of the company.  Also I'm assuming that 6 cpl is as an IC.  You'd be better off working in fast food.
It's IC, hospice reports, Dictaphone ExText. Nice lady, but
nm
I talked to the insurance lady too (she is very nice) and was told the same thing. sm
I called the office and talked to a high-up manager who said that they haven't said anything because they do not have anything in writing and do not want to give information and have it be wrong.

The premium for employee only is $404 per month and KS is paying $202. This is much better than I had at another company that I do not want bash as this was the only issue I had.

I love it at KS because I have plenty of work and everyone in the office is so nice. My lead changed positions in the company a few months ago and my new lead is very nice and more organized. I have been there 11 months (this time) and was there a year before that in 2005-6. I made the mistake of thinking that the grass was greener but it wasn't!
Very nice owner, nice work, nice place - sm
the leave you alone.  I left because they do not budge from their pay which was kind of mediocre.  I would go back if I had to because they were extremely nice.
Very nice people, nice place to work. nm

nm

Yes, nice QA (and nice people in general), but very little work right now. nm
nm
Drop them an email. Mine was stolen. I received a nice empty envelope.

Great pay rate on a 55 ccl, great lady to work for and work is not tough. sm

It is all IC work, although you still are expected to give a schedule if you are doing stat coverage.  Only major drawback is the big wait for your first check -- almost a month from the time of your first invoice.

Good luck!

I would love to know which company. You may email me if you wish. sm
Email above.  Thanks.
I sent you an email; but I'd love to hear about this - sm
radio receiver thing. How does it work? What do I need to get it? We have a huge radio antenee on one side of the house that the previous owner used for some sort of radio transmitting, ham radio operator or something like that. Love to learn more and see if this is a way I could get high-speed.
Would love to know what hospital it is. Email me please
if you can't post it on the board.
I could send an email saying how I love VR
I have seen reports of mine transcribed by humans which have errors on them. I am glad to be using VR so still want to send emails?
I'd love to stay in touch via email...sm
just click on my user name. Look forward to hearing from you!
Didn't you just LOVE the latest TT email?

Congratulating us for getting all the work caught up last night and pointing out we weren't EVEN OFFERED A BONUS.  Nice.  Yes, those of us at TT are so desparate for work that when it finally shows up, we don't need a bonus to work our fingers to the bone and those in Management crow about it.

Made me throw up a bit in my mouth.

As a whole.. nice people to work for, decent benefits but the get off/on the system, work/no work,
is maddening. I couldnt pay my bills or even work the schedule I was assigned. They would ask us not to work until work built up in the evenings and I specifically wanted to work days as I have kids etc. It just didnt work out for me but to each his own. It just seems there has to be a better balance in this business that what is happening.
Work is easy, very nice owner, pays weekly, work in Word.

Pay is always on time, direct deposit, very nice management to work with, and DQS platform, work
load normally busy, but low now because of the summer slow down on my accounts.  Sound an issue on some accounts, but not others.  Overall, wonderful company.
I did some overflow work for Landmark.. they are wonderful to work for.. very nice people.. pay was
.
Is it a nice place to work and did you have work all the time. nm
:
They may be nice to work for, but they

I work for that office, they are nice. nm

Nice people to work for.
Pay is higher than other MTSO.  QA is very helpful and always encouraging.  I never heard anything negative, even when I did make a mistake.  The only reason I left is because I was offered a local account with a surgery center.  I would go back in a heartbeat if I needed work.
Are you a nice company to work for. nm

:

Nice company to work for. sm
Pay always on time. Weekends are not required. They do not pay for spaces, but do pay H/F. Line rates are better than average to good.
You're too nice. I was going to tell her to go to work somewhere else - LOL
nm
Yes, I work there...The owner and QA and everyone else is very nice.
xx
nice company to work for -----
Mongoose is simple to learn and doesn't seem to have the problems with freezing up and losing jobs that I experienced with Chartscript at my last job.
They are nice cups. I got one, and I do not even work there. sm
I was going to work with them awhile back, and their software was incompatible with another work program I was using, so I was never able to start.  I must be on some list still.  I don't know about the pay cuts mentioned below -- that would be distressing -- but they seemed to pay like everyone else at the time and had decent benefts.  Hope the other poster was wrong about the pay cuts -- I hate seeing that happening so much lately!
I'll love to know who you work for. I also work every weekend with no extra pay.
It'd be nice to get paid for all the nights and weekends I work.
Yes, they are Indian-based and not nice to work for/with. nm
x
Yes, they do. Nice little company. Plenty of work.
Pay on a weekly basis.  Internet based platform.  I do think they are still hiring.
I do. Very nice people. I have plenty of work sm
Pay is on time. Nobody bothers me. I have a great account and wonderful software that is Word based, but they have several accounts a couple of different platforms, so not sure what the others are like.
The vet I work gave me a nice bonus.
I got a card from one of the transcription companies I work for.
Very nice company to work for... friendly and
good QA. It is sometimes difficult to get a high line rate though. Not sure why, but maybe because headers and footers are not paid for. They do pay for spaces however. Good Luck in your decision.
Future-Net as IC, although work can be low. Nice people. nm
x
Love, love, love TransTech! Not overhiring, just growing like crazy!
x
This is the TTD lady for sure

Or someone who works with her.  No MT would be saying so what.

Doesn't matter how nice they are, I wouldn't work
xx
Yep. Me too. Nice people, great place to work!
.
Unless things have changed drastically, they are NOT nice to work for.
You will get calls at all hours to work, mostly because no one has enough sense to realize that there is a big time difference between the east coast where they are and the west coast where I am. I routinely got calls from Rose between 4 and 5 a.m. to see why I was not working when my schedule was for 7 a.m. pacific time. The accounts were awful. And the recruiter is just that - do not believe all the praise and glory she heaps out. She may be sweet but don't fall for her line of bs.
Yes, they do allow split shifts and they're very nice to work for
x
Any small companies in Michigan that are nice to work for. nm

Former DRC/Acusis MTs - Have you found a company as nice to work for (sm)
as DRC with good software, pay, benefits, etc?   Looks like REALLY good MTSO are few and far between.
Nice people to work with. Lines never added up though.
I couldn't tell you about the benefits because I was part-time and didn't need them at that time. They use Dragon MT as their platform. I personally didn't like it.
Nice people. I constantly ran out of work and had to move on. nm
x
Nice people, agreed; very frustrating to work for, though.
I have to agree that the people are very nice. That's about as far as goes, however. The platform is clunky (We're working on a new one has been the constant refrain for years, with no real sign of it's birth anytime soon).

To answer the original question, I'm able to average about 250 lph, even with the craptacular platform (mostly due to a few docs with regular patter lending themselves to a lot of canned text); that said, I would likely be getting 350 lph or more with similar effort elsewhere.

Back on the negative side, however, the communication there sucks. Maybe 1 in 10 e-mails to management is acknowledged, let alone answered.

Very frustrating.
Nice people but low work, and yes I have multiple accounts!! nm

Anyone work for Breitner. They keep sending me an email to work for them. What
do you know about this company at present.
