I am thinking of changing to Webmedx from my present company and would like to know if I am making the right choice.  I need to talk with someone who has been there for a while that can give me a clear view of the company--the good and the bad.  Please E mail me and let me know.  Thanks!

Transcend's longtime employees

Ive read here that Transcend has a lot of employess who have been there a long time, they must be doing something right?  I see a lot of negative here about Transcend and so I am trying to even that out a little bit.  Also they do not offshore.  I wonder if the unhappy MTs from Transcend were MTs who didnt work there long and did not give them a chance?  Thoughts?

Any Axolotl employees willing to share info., platform, ESL %, etc. All info greatly appreciated. sm

Along with the platform, ESL %, pay range, lpd required, split shift or 12-24 hour window available, I would be interested in knowing your personal experience with this company, what type of relationship you have with supervisors and other coworkers, etc.  Otherwise, the all the 411.

Thanks!

What's up with Webmedx? Another 50 FT employees? (sm)

Are they actually growing and picking up accounts that quickly or are people leaving like crazy?

Any current info appreciated?   Have been considering their 35 hours for FT benefits sounds good.  They also state flexible schedule.  Can't beat that if it is true.

Webmedx employees?
I recently heard Webmedx has slightly higher pay and better insurance than the average company.  Any current employees out there, can you give me any info?  I am looking to make a switch to a company where I can pay my bills!! Thanks!
WEBMEDX PROVIDES A COMPUTER FOR BOTH FT AND PT EMPLOYEES!

Question for WebmedX employees
My first day after a week of training, part-time 4 hours, only did 600 lines at 147 lines per hour.  Trying to understand the pay.   Will I get my base line rate x 600 lines regardless, or will this be calculated according to the lines per hour transcribed.
Question for Webmedx employees about OT. (sm)

I am relatively new to Webmedx having come from over a decade with MQ.  I see the postings about accounts that have OT authorized and to please help where we can.  Is this too good to be true?  At MQ we would be in big trouble for working extra without specific authorization from our supervisor. TIA.

Webmedx employees: Two questions (sm)

Do you run out of work a lot?  How is Radiology workload and pay?

TIA

Webmedx hire part time employees...sm
I'm really happy there.  You might give them a try.
Would like to hear from recent WEBMEDX employees. Good/bad/ugly? (nm)

Question for Webmedx Employees--If you find that you have trouble getting 7-8 hours in during--sm
your 12-hour window due to running out of work, are you required to make up those hours outside of your 12-hour window? Will they take away your benefits if you can't get 35-40 hours consistently due to work running out? Thanks!
Webmedx PTO rate of 1.08 hours per payperiod and only for Full-time Employees
Webmedx only gives PTO and insurance to full-time employees.  No PTO for the first 3 months, then something like 1.08 hours per pay period, starting at 0.  If they run out of work or your ISP goes down or your child gets sick and you cannot get in the full 35 hours to qualify for full-time, they want you to use your PTO to make sure your hours add up to 35 that week.  If you fall below 35 hours for 3 months in a row, no matter what the reason, they automatically drop you to part-time and take away your insurance.  Then, you have to work a minimum of 35 hours for the next 3 months before you will be eligible for insurance again.  As far as holidays, if the holiday falls on your scheduled work day, you have to work, unless you ask for it off in advance, but they do pay you for 8 hours of holiday at your normal rate, in addition to any lines you type that day.
You sound like me.... longtime
I like to do a little of this and a little of that, too.  I thought transcribing something other than reports would be kind of interesting as well.  Sometimes, the IME reports can be a little off the beaten path for someone who likes a little luster I guess you could say!  I do not try to keep all of my eggs in one basket, just in case I drop the basket or it the basket gets taken from me!  Sometimes p.r.n. can be tough to call, but I probably would try something a little different now and again...  I love this board!  So many intuitive people with interesting things to talk about in this field other than just complain.
Webmedx has 6 paid holidays a year, separate from PTO, for full time employees.

I'm a longtime employee too and I have a couple
Do you do ASR or are you one of those who refuses?  There are good dictators on regular transcription that haven't qualified for ASR but I rarely get them.  ASR has helped with some of the worst ones and how it picks them up is beyond me.  If you refuse to do ASR, do you realize that you get preference over those who do both, which cuts us out of a lot of the nonASR and the higher line rate?  It cuts us out on our primary accounts because those who refuse ASR get the secondary preference over us also.  So those who refuse ASR contribute to their own lack of work and everybody else's.  It's not just the accounts, India, etc.  It must not be all that bad if you're still working for Precyse.
I had my longtime pt time job and learned 2 new pt jobs.

You go, Patti. Thought Longtime employee was

Can anyone give me any info about Webmedx and how they are to work for?
Webmedx info...

Hi,

I am currently looking into Webmedx and have a few questions for those of you that work for them:

1.  How do you keep track of you hours? Do you have to punch in on internet such as eTime?

2.  What is their software and how user friendly is it?

3.  How flexible are they with schedules? I understand you have a 12-hour window, how does that work?

4.  How is their pay, good, bad or same as other nationals? Do they base pay on experience? Do they give raises after an appropriate amount of time or do you have to beg for them?

I am sure I will think of more, but this is it for now.

Thanks!

Webmedx info
I have been working at Webmedx for the past 7 months.  They do tend to pay a little higher cpl for experience.  Training was okay - took longer to get released from my particular account than normal.  They tend to bend backwards for the clients (like bolding headings, VERY detailed account specs, etc).  Work has DRAMATICALLY decreased in the past 1.5 - 2 months!!!  Computer is kind of ancient - HUGE, old-fashioned monitor.  I don'T know where you heard that they watch your every move, because that is not true.  For the time I have been here, the only email I received was a generic email sent to everyone on my account asking where everyone was at - but nothing more than that.  Very flexible with your scheduling.  I would say a good amount of ESL - around 50-60% on my particular account.  I have been promised a third and fourth accounts and have yet to receive them.  I was also told that my account was going to VR the beginning of September but we have yet to switch.  The only real reason I am leaving is because the lack of work.  Hope that helps!

Work load?  Are they going VR?  Pay for clinic?  Do they supply computers? good, bad??

Webmedx-Latest info?
Any recent info on how they are to work for now?  Looking for steady workflow (understand seasonal slumps), is the insurance good/affordable, and what kind of time off do you get?  Any help would be most appreciated.  Thanks!
Can anyone share any info on Webmedx?
Good, bad? I see that they have several openings currently, but I just want to make sure that they are a good company before I pursue anything with them. Do they pay on time? Do they treat their employees well? Can they be flexible if you ever need some time off? Also, do they frequently run out of work? Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Are all of the dictators ESL as in the test on the website?  If you sign on as a radiology MT are you still allowed a 12-hour window.  Has workload been fairly consistent? Any info would be greatly appreciated.  I took the test and would like some info before I am contacted.  TIA.
Oh for sure employees, but not too often for statutory employees. Sorry for confusion.

Attn: Any Transcend employees or former employees
I have been offered a job with Transcend, but I am not completely sure about it yet and I need some input from you guys.  I have read positives and negatives regarding this company but alot of it was pretty old information.  Can anyone give me some recent feedback on them?    Thanks very much!!!
They have IC and employees, employees get benefits.
Good company. I am very happy there.
Does anyone like it at Precyse? New employees? old employees? nm

Webmedx ad apply at Webmedx or Transhealth ? (sm)
Apply to one address if you need equipment, another if you want to use your own?  Does this mean they are still acting as 2 separate companies?   Can anyone explain this?
Webmedx?? Why do you say Webmedx is foreign??

Any recent info on MedTrans Unlimited? newest archived info is 9 months old... m

Has anything changed in 9 months? Particular worries are the invoice/pay time; one post mentioned 2 to 3 week wait and another post stated 1 week. Info from the company states pay is sent out 10 days after the last day of the billing period, but we all know what is said and what is done isn't always the same. Another concern is the platform; some mentioned it was slow and cumbersome. They have 2 platforms from what I can gather.. Are they both slow? It seemed like certain specialties were done on certain platforms, or at least that is what I got out of the archives. I really hate to jump from the frying pan to the fire so any info would be VERY much appreciated.. the good, bad, and the ugly! TIA!!
