If i-chart is sometimes 12 hours behind, how can you (we) check line count to be sure the daily production is being made? How would you check to see how many lines per hour you are typing? I'm really confused....

I am going to test with them. Does anyone have any feedback about Fast Chart? Can one advance up the pay levels quickly, or are you stuck at the horrendously low starting rates? The information they have sent is pretty confusing.

Can anyone tell me how long it takes, on the average, to start making 9cpl with Fast Chart? I just received their pay scale chart and it seems like one has to do an anwful lot of typing just to get up to 9 cpl. Is their platform user-friendly? Thanks for any info you can give me.

They start you off at 6 cpl at Level 1 and move you up a level according to your cumulative lines from Day 1 and accurately typing all reports. From the best I can tell their top pay is 9 cpl on all shifts, which is Level 8.

I started 2 weeks ago with Fast Chart and have given my 2-weeks notice. My computer does not like the software and have had problems since starting with different problems daily getting logged on and with the software not saving autotext. Sometimes have ran out of work in the past 2 weeks. Made a whopping 240 bucks the last pay period so I said see ya. Starting a new job tomorrow which is better pay. I'd think twice about this company.

In my experience, I worked there about 3 weeks. For one thing, pay was horrible. Secondly, I hated the platform, something was always going wrong with it, so ended up bringing home about 250 bucks per pay period. Needless to say, I have moved to greener pastures.

I had to take the first job that came along until something better came along. Yes, the pay was low. I worked 12 hours per day to bring home about $750 twice monthly. We just migrated off ChartScript - we were so glad to say goodbye ! Doesn't work well for remote MTs, lots of lost reports, slow like molasses ! constantly lost our text inserts/autocorrects - horrible system !

Chart Matrix - Pee-U!
It's a slow, cumbersome, clunky DATABASE program with a text Editor feature. It's not a professional word processing platform. It does not come with any type of auto correct for text, so you must buy Shorthand, which is the only program of user-defined abbreviations Chart Matrix will work with. It will slow you down.

I work with ChartScript and I have hundreds of expanders. They really save a ton of time and the best part is you can print them out too and keep a record of what you have or don't have. I like it. JMO.

I have been with Fast Chart for 10 years and am satisfied. I have found them to have a great support team and the dictators good. Lately work has slumped a little, but I still get my lines. I am considered full-time but can usually get my line count in 20-25 hours per week and make $125 or more per day. No complaints.

Hi there. I just sent them my resume and they sent me a chart that breaks down their pay. Basically they start at 0.6 cpl, pitiful for transcription and 0.3 cpl for edit. The highest pay (0.9 cpl) is only achieved after working for them for 2 years and only typing/editing op-notes and discharge summaries...

or Chart-Script, I can't remember. It was suppose to be Bayscribe but they decided to give me another account which was fine. There was no instruction manual, NADA! I asked for one and they said there wasn't one and I didn't need it. They answered absolutely no questions, were not available to answer questions and if you did get hold of them, they would tell you they didn't know. The person that I dealt with was KE!
I was very very surprised this happened because of all the good things said about Landmark.. I thought maybe it was just me and it was not going to be a good fit. After reading these other posts, apparently they have done this to other employees. Maybe they have just started it I don't know.
I see where one MT had to call or threaten to call the Labor Board and then they overnighted her check??????
Something very strange going on. Just because your experience is good, don't negate the experience of others. Bottom line is, I sure don't want others to go unpaid from this company.

I have a friend that works for Fast Chart. She says that the recruiter told her that the only account they are currently advertising/hiring for is actually not a new account, but one that they have had for quite a while and is an extremely difficult one. The managers at that facility do not allow for imperfection. Why Fast Chart is advertising it as a new account and a dream job is questionnable.
The good thing about Fast Chart, she says, is that they do allow you to make your own schedule and you can change it monthly. You establish your own line commitment. They charge a fee if you do not make your line commitment. The pay is low, but on time and likely no lower than DIT.

I'm stunned. They used to pay for spaces. Have they suddenly stopped paying for spaces on all existing accounts? If this is true, I wonder if the current employees are aware of this. I mean, the pay was low enough when they included the spaces; 6.5 cpl without spaces should be illegal, IMHO!!.
